Pinays are gone. No trace of them in BC, Gypsy, and other bars of Changkat. If they are there, they were well hidden for those days due to some reason. I had lot of nostalgy for the group of my Pinay friends of my last visits. Nothing like having 2 or 3 of them in my room may lighten up a night.

BC had an overwhelming majority of men over passable girls. This is enough to understand the rest.

A little perspective:

Short time for tourists in the most expensive city in Vietnam, often from the same ladies who go to Malaysia to work a part of each month, costs 188 ringgit. A plane ticket from KUL to SGN costs 134 ringgit.

Reached KL on Saturday evening. Checked in to Invicto Hotel in Bukit Bintang. It is the the first time I am staying this hotel and surprised to know it is just few steps from Changkat. I only mentioned a recent incident I witnessed last Saturday night (1 OCT 2016), because it differed from yours by 2 additional persons and that they were well away from TC; most likely heading to Pacific Regency or Oasis Suites on Lorong P Ramlee. I should add another point of note: there were two police sedans (one was already engaged with a couple at the intersection; the second one passed by the 1st as backup, saw the group heading up the hill on Jalan Sultan Ismail, and chased after them).

Just this week in Beach Club, I saw a Chinese tourist attempting to negotiate with a top-notch Viet (her tight dress leaves nothing to the imagination). Based on his hand signals, his room must be walking distance from the TC corner. Either the offer was low (300? Per his fingers) or the girl did not want to risk getting picked up, so she deflected the offer by pointing to her high heels and seemed to indicate that she didn't want to walk far.
