Kuala Lumpur Health Center Visits Part 6: Other Places I Looked at But Didn’t Visit

I also stopped into a few places with having sessions there. Here are my impressions.

Imperial Hotel

The Imperial Hotel health center is located on Changkat Bukit Bintang, a cross street of Bukit Bintang and near one end of the Jln Alor food hawker market. The health center looks basically like a bar. I was told that a session (45 minutes or an hour, I forget) costs R175 for Malay and about R190 for Vietnamese or other nationalities. I saw a couple of Malay girls come out for a customer, and I could see why Imperial has a lower price: they were a little chubby and their faces were pleasant enough, but they were not nearly as attractive as girls I saw elsewhere.

Concorde Hotel

Located on Jln Sultan Ismail near the Bukit Nanas Monorail stop and in the general vicinity of the KL Convention Center, the health center here is as swanky as the hotel. Do not confuse this health center with the legitimate fitness center in the hotel; it will be obvious if you are in the right place, however. When I arrived I was greeted enthusiastically by the captain, who showed me around. Kuala Lumpur Health Center Visits Part 5: Boulevard Hotel

Going through the forum was a good lesson in the geography of Kuala Lumpur. Many of the venues sounded great, but seemed pretty far or difficult to get to for a tourist based in the center of town. Two places that sounded relatively easy to reach were the health centers in the Cititel and Boulevard hotels in the Mid-Valley Mall. Both had good reports on the forum, but I had already visited the Cititel in Penang, so the Boulevard won out. It was easy to reach, jut the LRT line to the B stop, and then a free shuttle bus to the mall (the return shuttle stops running before around 11).

I have one word for this place: swank. The health center at the Boulevard was the most stylish place I visited in Malaysia, from the dining room with its modern furniture and dramatic lighting, to the large whirlpool, to the impressive Asian-décor rooms, with their raised wooden platforms with mattress pads for doing the deed. After checking in at the front desk, I sat down at a booth in the dining area with the captain and checked out the girls he called out. They were a good selection of Chinese Malays and Chinese PRCs, but I saw more appealing ones walking by the edge of the dining area going to or coming from sessions, including one incredibly adorable, tiny thing who made me drool.

It was getting toward the end of my week in Luala Lumpur, and something was missing. My second favorite thing about Malaysia (guess what the first is!) is the amazing mix of Asian cuisine available – Malay, Chinese, Indian. Kuala Lumpur Health Center Visits Part 3: Federal Hotel

The first hotel health center I tried was at the Federal Hotel on Bukit Bintang. The center is downstairs after you pass through the lobby. There’s really no pretense here about being an actual spa; there’s not even a remote resemblance to a health club here. As a facility, Federal has a slightly old tired, old feel about it, and it’s kind of chaotic, with the hallways crowded with girls and staff members and piles of towels. The selection rooms are a bit cramped, and the overall layout is confusing. But the rooms, while past their prime, are fun: each has a different style or theme. I had sessions in the cosmic/space travel room, the beach room and the American West room (complete with a riding crop on the wall – behind plexiglass, in case a customer or a girl might get tempted to use it!). Some of the rooms have mirrors on the walls for nice views of the action. You may want to ask the girl to turn down the piped-in music, which depending on your taste can get distracting. A session at Federal costs R238 for 45 minutes (which can be stretched a bit due to clean-up, etc.), not nearly as good a deal as the places with real spa or eating facilities, but I have no complaints about the sex.

Kuala Lumpur Health Center Visits Part 2: Genesis Spa

Genesis Spa is in the HSBC bank building on Sultan Ismail between Jln Ramlee and Jln Chulan; enter though the main lobby, and the center is on the 10th floor. I visited twice, once on a lunch break from my conference at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, which is nearby. Same pretense as elsewhere: ask the front desk women for any of the massage packages on the menu, and they will give you your locker key. The captains inside will know what you are here for. A session costs R238 for 45 minutes.

The set-up and arrangement is similar to the Spa de Palace, though the spa facilities (only one jacuzzi) are much less extensive. The lounge area is smaller, but the food is good, especially the pastries and desserts. Another major plus is free internet at 2 terminals near the dining area. The rooms are one floor down and are impressive, possibly the largest I saw in Malaysia. You can see them though the glass doors, but cleverly the glass portion is covered by the back of a close door in the room once you are in there for the action. The rooms are round and have a 1970s swingers vibe to them with big round beds. There are mirrors covering all the walls, but the way they are angled means you can’t necessarily see yourself in action too well! The air conditioning was too cold during both visits, but the showers are excellent.

The first time I visited the captain said that it was not possible for me to see the girls first or choose among, them, as most did not wasn’t to have a session with a western visitor. This inability to get a sense of the girl’s attitude contributed to my session being so bad; in fact the worst I had in Malaysia. Venus was a Chinese Malay, and from the start really didn’t show any enthusiasm. No kissing was a major turnoff, and during the whole session she seemed to be just going through the motions. It was basically a complete waste of time and money and a lost precious mongering opportunity.

Kuala Lumpur Health Center Visits Part 1: Spa de Palace

A few recent posts from guys planning visits to Kuala Lumpur have asked for some general information about the scene there. I visited in July and had a great time, thanks in large part to the forum. It did take some serious digging, though, and a lot of the posts, while containing useful information, were pretty cryptic and oriented to local residents. I thank these guys for the information they posted, and I’d like to give back by presenting a mini guide to the MPs I visited, from a tourist’s perspective.

Spa de Palace

Hands down, this was my favorite place – I visited 6 times (5 in one week, the last after some traveling), for reasons you’ll see below. Spa de Palace is located on the second floor of the Life Complex near, which has street entrances on Perak and Sultan Ismail. It is one of the closest spas to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, so it makes a fine place to take a mid-day break when attending a conference, as I did several times. It’s also near the Petronas Towers and the Suria KLCC Mall, so makes good place for an excursion when companions would rather shop or sightsee (or are encouraged to shop or sightsee while you "explore the city" on your own! ). I believe they open at 11:30 or noon, and last call for choosing girls is 11:30 PM, though I stayed until 1:30 on one late visit.

From what I saw, the main clientele were Japanese visitors; I did not see another western visitor there the whole time. I always wondered what the fuss was about when women go crazy about spas, but now I know. At this place, they really pamper you. From the dressing room attendants to the food wait staff to the captains, the attentive staff here goes all out to make you enjoy your stay. And that’s before the sex! The facilities, while guilty of a little cheesiness with a faux-Roman theme, are excellent. There’s plenty of space in the dressing area, 6 hot-warm-cold pools, and a sauna and steam room. None of these were ever too crowded when I used them. The showers were nice, with plenty of free grooming supplies on hand. The dining area is small, with a few tables, but the food was always hot and freshly made and a different main A range of juices and other drinks were available, as well as desserts (which weighted toward exotic flavors, as in the red bean ice cream, demonstrating a focus on the Japanese clientele). The lounge is filled with big, comfy chairs and a couple of-big-screen tv’s (usually turned to Japanese or Malaysian Chinese language channels).

Before I get to the good stuff, let me take you through the process. When you first arrive at the entry desk, one or two female staff members will show you the menu of (legitimate) massage options available and for how much time. You can say anything at this point; the only place you really indicate your desired services are to the captains in the lounge/dining area. The main thing here is receiving your numbered locker key. Go up the elevator to the dressing room, where a locker attendant will take your key and unlock your locker, and give you shorts and a tower and slippers; they will lock the locker afterward with your key and their own – security here is good. After you do the spa stuff (or at least shower), another attendant will robe you, and you are off to the lounge area. A captain will approach you and ask what you are interested in, here the pretense drops – just let him know when you are ready and he will bring you upstairs to choose from among the available girls. Legitimate services are available, however, and they are well-done and affordable. I had one excellent shiatsu massage (R70, I think) and a facial treatment from a cute girl in a room off the lounge (R85 plus tip. No, it was not THAT kind of facial! ); foot massage is also on offer.

So you go upstairs and are led into one of the rooms to choose your girl. By now one of the captains has asked if you want the regular room and 45 minute service at R208, or the deluxe room (with jacuzzi) for 90 minutes (I think it was about R280). They will use their radio system to check availability, and then escort you upstairs, sometimes after a waiting period. Once you go upstairs you can see that they put most of their resources into the public areas below, as the rooms are rather basic (even the deluxe ones, despite the Jacuzzi and tv). A regular room is rather small, with just a small twin bed and a night table and shower room off the side, with no attempts at décor (not even a rug! ). While you sit on a couch in a deluxe room the captain will usher in the available girls, wearing lingerie. One time I was there it was a parade of 15, another time 5, so the availability really varies. All of the girls are PRC Chinese, and I think very few have any English language skills. I liked the selection, which was as good as other lineups I aw while in Malaysia, and most were in their late teens or 20s, but some of the girls looked too shy to have a good time with. After you choose (a process which I hate, since I feel pressured and like I am the one being inspected – I much prefer the fishbowls of Thailand), you are led to a room and soon the girl joins you and you begin (and end) the session with a shared shower.

The reason that, over six visits I saw lineups only twice was that I repeated four times with my first choice, Chou Hum, a girl with a slender body but round breasts rather large for her overall frame, and who had a gorgeous face, about as good looking as actress Lucy Liu.
