Thanks for your insights. They are timely because I'm heading to KL in a few days. There are not many postings here about Changkat bars, but your thoughts make it intriguing. While in KL I normally have my fun in the afternoon, usually at a spa or at the ACE building. But might have to force myself to stay up late and go partying.

You mentioning the Hard Rock Cafe was interesting, because I've never thought about picking anyone up there. Any idea what the going rate is for short-time companionship?

Earlier this year I also got a massage from one of the persistent Thai therapists standing on Changkat near the Hotel Soleil. Half-way through she offered full service for 250 rm, which I thought was absurd. Like an idiot I countered with 200 rm and she immediately agreed. I sure wasn't negotiating from a position of strength while sitting naked under a sheet in a plywood-walled cubicle. The service and surroundings were abysmal, and I won't make that mistake again.

I agree with your thoughts about KL. There's something for everyone at prices much cheaper than Singapore and I too appreciate the cultural diversity. Thanks again.

Hit the bars at Changkat Tuesday. Thursday, was out quite early, 9 PM until midnight. Girl / guy rate was really good, maybe 70% girls. Also learned quickly most girls was WG or semi-pro. Most girls were average or below. No stunners. On the up-side most girls were easygoing, fun and was also out to have fun and not just looking for your cash. Bought some drinks and had great company in every bar (no special lady-drink prices). You could see girls were hanging in groups, e g the African girls were at one place and so on. Price for ST seemed to be around 400 MYR but likely possible to bargain and likely possible to turn ST in to LT. All was asking "How much are you willing to pay" when I declined the offer. Friday evening comes, a totally different scene at Changkat. Street was turned in to a walking street, much more couples and party-people out. It was a great party, but due to much more drunk guys it was maybe a little harder to find the best girls. I expect Changkat to be the same Saturday evening. Changkat is definitely my go-to place in KL, loved the vibe and the girls here..

TC, I do not think I have to add anything to what is written here already. The business much more straight forward and girls are being pushy for drinks and cash. They would grab your arm and not leave until you tell them you will never pay for their company. That kind of turns me off. Entry was 40 MYR including one drink, totally OK I think, but due to bad experience with pushy girls at TC I did not even try BC. It was also plenty of drunk guys outside, pushy taxi-guys and so on.

We-chat: Works great with the "nearby" function. Invitation to massage-places and outcall offerings came within 10 minutes. Prices seemed to be reasonable, massage including FS around 250 MYR, outcall girls asked "how much" after I declined 200 or 300. Met one girl on WC that came to hotel-room for a drink, she said she would go with me to dinner. We ended up in bed watching TV and some more. She was totally up for some fun. We went to dinner and to Changkat together. She seemed to know a lot of people and brought me to some great bars. Tipped here and sent her off with 200 MYR and she looked surprised, happy, hugged me and kissed me and went off to see her friends, and likely to spend the money. Met another WC girl, met outside a mall and went to Starbucks. She was going out with friends in the evening and she wanted me to go out with them. Well with all the options that was in the bars I was not interested in going there already hooked up so I declined the invitation.

Hard-rock, I think it was Wednesday. About 20 WG / semi pro there. Hardly no single guys at all. No problem to pick a girl there.

Checked the Green elephant spa. Dirty interior turned me off, just said I had not enough money and went out.

Checked a massage place on Changkat between Jalan alor (the food street) and Changkat bars. I think 40 or 60 MYR for the massage, however. In the massage room coming to the he, the girl requested 400 MYR for B2B and FS. A little to much maybe but she was good looking and my little friend was really eager to get some fun, so there was nothing I could do in that situation, should have negotiated before accepting the really cheap (and lousy) massage.

Conclusion is KL is great!! A lot of different girls from Viet, Phili, Thai and Africa in the bars and not so many guys around. Just smile, flirt, act nice and polite and the girls will come to you.

Hit Beach Club on Thursday night, Arrived before 9 and there was no cover. 42.5 ringgit for 2 beers. There was a Vietnamese soccer game on so wasn't difficult to distinguish which girls were Viet and they were all going crazy when the Viet team scored. The majority of the bar were Vietnamese girls.
