Getting a SIM card was easy. Right before immigration you will see the stands. Have 40 Ringgit on you. The guy at Digi tries to rip you off. He wanted 400 Thai baht for 40 Ringgit. I went to the exchange across the hall and got 46 ringgit. I know it's a nominal savings but I had time to kill waiting for my buddy to arrive.

The Chinese guy of Digi is very good instead, just in my experience!
I don't think that it is a rip-off. He does not know what to do with your baht. He would have to go to exchange, if you give him baht. And the time he spends for exchanging is more worth than 6 rm.
