Hello everybody,
I am from Southamerica travelling around and during the last days of July I ll be in Kuala Lumpur, I am staying in this hotel The Federal Kuala Lumpur in Bukit Bintang. I really appreciate if the wise members of this forum could help me sharing some information about how is the action near to this hotel, and if this hotel is guest friendly, actually I found some info about it, that is why I booked this one. My PM is open for your kind help.
Thanks in advance.
Victor Manuel.

Personally, I don't think that in our hobby we're NOT getting what we pay for, especially in scenes like Malaysia where decent service is NOT the norm. Better 80 RM for a basic quickie at ACE, which occasionally turns out nicer than expected, than 800 RM at Beach Club for what often ends up being a disappointing quickie too, albeit with more overhead (taxis, your hotel etc).
Regarding looks, more expensive places usually get a higher number of better lookers, but you can always judge for yourself, and presumably only pick ones that appeal to you. Finding a diamond in the rough can be fun, more fun for me than finding what turns out to be a nicely made up bushpig in the relative glitz (but to each their own). As an aside, some nationalities are only available on the low end.
As for the number of clients, every WG has seen 1000's upon 1000's of dicks. At their level, it doesn't really matter if they average 8 per day or 3 per day. We're not talking Lamborghinis here anyway, but either a Proton for $20 or an old Toyota for $200, both with huge mileage.

No need to criticize others. Each to his own.

I said "net", having deducted everything. In USA, the monthly salary is ultra-gross, because one has to pay taxes, health insurance, retirement investment funds. The last two are not mandatory, but in Europe they are automatically deducted and shared between the employee and the employer. The good point is that if I fall sick and I cannot work anymore, I cannot afford an insurance anymore, whatever, still for all my life I can get say a heart transplant at the best hospital from the public health system without paying. Good luck in California if you need a heart transplant and you are POOR! I rather keep my lower salary, but at least I am safe.

I mean, maybe I'm in California, but we pay our interns way more than that.

Flying someone from Europe to KL in Economy and paying his stay there for a week at a 4/5 stars hotel with good restaurants is about 1500-2000 EUR. Add 500/800 for Premium Economy (maybe via Singapore) or 1000/1500 for business. Total say 2000-3500 USD.
If someone pays 100 USD for a girl every night (actually more likely 150 with ongoing prices at BC / TC), in one week is 700-1000, which proportioned to one month is 3000-4500 USD/month. Most engineers I know who are sent overseas for meetings or training are paid 2000-4000 USD montly net. I am not surprised that cheaper alternatives are considered by a few ones. Not everyone is so high level to be an executive or financial advisor.
Personally, I could not afford (or I would be irresponsible should I) to spend one week in KL drawing girls every night from BC, or even worse in Singapore going every night at OT, but I move to Batam instead of going to ACE. I spend less and enjoy more!
To EXSPAT:
Yes, the reason I was digging Chowkit 10 years ago was not to save money but exactly to feel that special thrill!
Said all this, I stay away from ACE and Petailing.

Not far from Ace, there's also One Stop Food Court (Jln Gelang), with a 100 RM going rate and slightly better service. Worth checking out, but it's mostly a Chinese zone, I haven't seen Indian customers there (not sure why).
Petaling is just about the most awful brothel scene imaginable in terms of facilities and service, although occasionally there are a few cute women around. Pimps are a major nuisance, and perhaps the women are a nuisance too. As an Indian, you have the advantage of a 30 RM to 50 RM going rate, for white guys they seem stuck at 50 RM minimum with some asking 80 RM (too much for a 10 min pump in a rat-infested craphole like that). Petaling has about 8 places on both sides of the road (past the market). There are a few other Petaling-style brothels elsewhere (Jln Tun HS Lee, Jln Gajah).
Unlike the low-end places in Chowkit which were notorious for theft (so much you could expect them to try), I never felt unsafe at either Ace or Petaling. However, I felt unwelcome at Petaling, since I take my time to look around and choose, and most pimps and girls are jumpy and don't like that at all (though one or two pimps are chill and reasonably polite). It's still tempting to take a look, though given the facilities and attitude I almost never care to partake.
No massage in either of these places.
