I'm in KL now staying at BUkit Bintang, but found myself dropping a friend off at the Shangri La Hotel. Thought I would go inside by myself to the very upmarket bar area where the very nice looking Flipper singer is there with her two male band mates for a nightcap before heading back to Bukit Bintang. If only she was on the market!

Anyway after I sat down with my drink and after a while I notice a 7 or 8 rated African hooker giving me the eye like they do. Anyway after I ordered my second extraordinarily expensive drink she walked up the seat next to me and sat down for a chat. I didn't mind, but had no intention of using her services. Eventually curiosity got the better of me and I asked her how much for overnight, and the following discussion took place:

Me- How much for overnight?

African Hooker-What time until?

Me- 9. 00 am as I have business to do. (which was bullshit).

African Hooker. That's OK with me. 1000.

Me- 1000 Ringgit is far too much for such a short time.

African Hooker-No, it's US $1000!

Me- No way! No-one would pay that.

African Hooker- I get that all the time. (My bullshit meter went off the scale!

Me- Good try, and good bye.

At that point I downed my drink and headed home.

Some of these hookers have a bigger sense of self-worth than reality I'm afraid.

Ain't that fucking right! Another thing that was unknown to me was that last night I went to the Thai Club and they tried to charge me 40 MYR to get in. No way I said and walked out. I had noticed some previous reports here indicating an entrance fee at BC / TC, but I thought it was only on busy nights. Lesson learnt for me.

That question has been covered before on this forum, and not that long ago. I'm assuming you are coming into KLIA, which is way down south in a Oil Palm plantation. Its an non-urban area. But, the express train ride is a pleasant ride, just under half an hour, and shouldn't be an obstacle. I've made it round-trip, twice. Getting across town to a mongering location could be an equally time consuming task. Unfortunately, this isn't like Frankfurt, where the airport trains takes you to the Hauptbahnhof, just blocks away from a few, large Laufhauses.

In the unlikely event you have your layover near Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, which is the older airport now serviced by budget regional carriers, its a different story. You are 15 minutes cab ride from Kota Damansara.

That said, if you are going onto another destination with good mongering options and more free time, you might pass on this opportunity. However, it this trip would otherwise be a "dry run", then I'd say you should definitely go for it.

I went to Guadalajara several years ago and attended a huge commercial food and wine event at a large convention center. It was populated with many attractive local chicas who I later learned were available for the right price and game..

I would recommend you to meet your business prospect partner in BC only if the business you'd like to start is in the scope of ISG. Is that so?
In all other cases, I am afraid you may be killing your opportunities.
