Went around some of my old haunts last week.

1) The sign for Shijuku / Thye Wan remains down. The centre itself is operating, with a reduced number of staff and a different captain. Saw 4 girls on the couches, picked one. Confirmed with captain the damage was 140 per half hour. Girl was No 9, not particularly engaged. Took out her dentures which for the BBBJ is both good and bad. Was surprised as she did not look that old. Service was rushed. Short changed as the bell went at 20 minutes, and got rushed out the door by 25 minutes. Did not bother to complain as it's the captain who rings the bell. Voted with my feet and did not return\.

2) Soo Chow is shut. Not only is it shut, all three houses are boarded up.

3) Hock Aun is open, with 5-6 rooms operating. Prices varies from 60-65 but time is no more than 20 minutes (typically 10-15 minutes). Pump and dump. Some younger but mostly older. Service level tolerable. Some of the girls are asking payment in advance, which seems atypical.

All in all, the Penang scene is extremely disappointing. I think this is due to lack of girls, and service in general has deteriorated in a seller's market.

I've been mongering a bit in Penang, I usually meet up with girls I find at Locanto. 1. Hotel RM250 for two hours.

2. her condominium RM300 for two hours.

3. through website RM235 for 1 and 45 min.

I contact 6 people and lacanto / telegram all lead to this hotel.
