The night life in Penang sucks man, especially the club scene. The clubs are full of mostly local Chinese girls who think highly of themselves. Unless you have some friends to hang out with, I won't recommend hitting the clubs or bars.

I'm about to visit Waldorf hotel for some action. Can someone experienced here give me some pointers? Like where to head to, the lobby or spa? Price range? What to do?

My first time, don't wana look dumb.

Waldorf is my scene since the girls are usually prettier. The entrance is at the left side, walk through it and you'll see a small coffee shop often with no customers, then turn right and you can see the girls through the tinted glass door.
