OK gents while I'm in Penang thought I better check out New Savoy as I had not been before. I can confirm what was written in the previous post about the OKT taking the money. As of Feb 1st, I can confirm that both of these places are open. I went to NS and had the OKT show me around. It's very simple to spot him. I have been to Shinjuku (Thye Wan) this evening and it appears closed. The sign on the door says open on 22 Jan up to 10 pm but the door is locked. More ominously, the sign above the alleyway entrance has been removed (only wires).

Anyone have any idea why? Are they are permanently closed?

Last few months not, suddenly Penang place all close door even on mainland Bukit Mertajam side. Till now even when open, they somehow open cautiously. Paris now only back door open.
