It would appear " from research not experience" that a good mid range hotel would be Chulia Mansion. Tripadvisor rates it high plus smack bang in middle of Chulia St where bars and FL central is apparently.

Was looking at booking here but size of room put me off. Also require pool and a little more comfort.

As per FL appears that around Chulai St & upper Penang Rd are best areas. Not much info coming out about Penang.

I intend to use Wechat too.

MAIN PICK UP BAR One nightlife hotspot is at downtown Georgetown at Penang Road around Slippery Senoritas, Moise, Voodoo Nightclub, Uptown Pub, Soho Free House.

As said this is research so those closer to the action please assist.

Soo Chow is just located on small road beside Kek Seng Coffe Shop. The Shop that sell durian ice cream ais kacang. Thye wan is in Penang Road. Located just few shop beside SOHO free house pub. There is big billboard written thye wan fitness centre.

Soo Chow is a quite fuck shop, where you are to unload within 15 minutes of action. Plus point is you get young chicks and it is cheap, RM40 for a fuck and addition of RM10 for a blowjob.

I plan to stay at Bay view hotel. Has anyone stayed there? And I prefer to be in the center of the action with FL roaming around.
If anyone can recommend a hotel that's mid range (price) girl friendly and not far from all the bars I would be grateful.
