I will be in KTM (Thamel) in a week. Earlier also I visited, and got nothing. I sent many PMs as well to some seniors but no one reverted back (except one) and that too a bi late (I was out of Nepal by then).

- Is Kathmandu Guest House, GF hotel?

- Can someone please help me in guiding as where to go and how to approach? I am looking for FS, GF experience.

Came to KTM for the regular EBC trek. The tour operator was very encouraging of the action once we return. Was back the day before yesterday. On roaming the streets, felt like you would run into a sp at every nook and corner. The near about of the Himalayan cafe seems to be the place to be for action.

I strictly advise against going to a bar, high priced drinks, hostess charging for just sitting with you with empty promises of action afterwards. Nasha bar tempted me in with the promise of a total!

On coming out, was surrounded by a group of 10 guys, presented with a 'bill' for 35 K NPR. Definitely not what I was expecting. Long story short, had to cough up 30 K to escape from that place! Not a pleased experience. I would say please be careful guys!

Hey Guys,

As a regular visitor to the valley and having lived there a bit, if there's one bit of advice. It's STAY AWAY FROM THE DANCE BARS! Especially the ones like Nasha and the others that promise nude dance etc.

The trick is always a variation of this. You go and sit at an otherwise legit looking dance bar. Girl joins you, you're obliged to buy her a drink. You may / may not ask for further services and regardless of what you get, before you can walk out, you'll be presented a bill with about 10 times the reasonable value. In case you refuse or raise a heckle, they drag you to another room, body check you and take whatever money you have on you. In case you have a credit or debit card, one of the guys gets your pin, withdraws a ton of money and gives you back the card and lets you go. In case you decide to complain to the police, no luck since they're paid off anyways! So do stay away from the dance bars. ALWAYS!

In all my time there, I've never found any decent action in Thamel. The once or twice I did get some action was via the taxi drivers who drove almost 45 minutes outside the city and was priced around 4 k nepali rs. Kathmandu. Definitely not worth the trouble guys!

Fucking in KTM is really as easy as fuck. It's like everybody says, go into a spa request a full service and insist if they are hesitating. I had "luck" at the first one.

But before you do so, look which meat you're working with. I didn't.

I just went to a "Spa" dirty as hell and much to expensive. It's super close to Bashram Bahal Temple.

The girl was like a wet towel in a basket and I paid much too much. Was really confused if KTM is really a good place to find some fun. ISG KTM guide din't help much either. But then where there are tourist there is mongering was my gut feeling. So here's my experience in KTM.

Well, mongering does exist in KTM. Finding gals ain't difficult. The forum's earlier posts give you a brief outline on how to proceed. Stayed in Thamel in a decent hotel. Decent because the reception out rightly rejected my request to allow me to bring in a girl into my room. So that was a disappointment indeed. So now I was dependent on in-call.

There are always staff in the hotel who will help you out with this. Once they find only guys have come to Nepal they pop up the obvious question, need a gal?

KTM means Kathmandu. There is only one place in Thamel called Kathmandu: Kathmandu Guesthouse.

Thamel Square means Thamel Chowk. Bigest square in the center of Thamel.

Now it is clear: you follow from Kahmandu GH in Thamel Chowk direction, you turn right, you reach it. You follow right a bit (not more than 100 m), looking at the right side at the end of the Chowk (Square). Voila: there is small lane. Actually the entrance of this lane doesn't look as the entrance of any lane at all: it looks rather as the entrance of the yard. You step inside and look around. Ta-dammmm. Just left from the entrance. There is so called Thai Spa on the on the 4th floor and the rooftop of the building.

I climbed up, I found the spa. But, there is no FS at all. Can you imagine? Such a quest! And they just do massage!

I'm extremely confused with such turn. Does it mean our mysterious BlackStone9 came here to advertise his own Thai Spa (duds, come and try, and may be you are lucky)? Who knows?

1. There is no such place as Thamel Square. Well -- there is a restaurant that goes by that name not far from Potala, but it itself isn't in a square. As for a "main square" in Thamel? None. It's a warren of narrow alleys, famously easy to get lost there. Spas everywhere, not a single solitary one on any rooftop. I wonder if you meant to say Durbar Square, which is maybe 15 minutes' walk from Potala? Certainly, definitely, from a man who's been 3 x to Thamel, it's incorrect to refer to any "main square" in Thamel itself. I guess maybe you were confused about where the bellboy led you, hardly surprising after all the blood. Left your brain. Shortly after.

2. I've been deeply confused by directions that refer to "coming to Thamel from KTM. " Thamel is IN KTM; you could "approach" Thamel from any direction as it's central in the city. What exactly is meant by "Kathmandu City?" It's a huge city, like a nation-state; Kathmandu City could mean anything!

3. This dance bar, I've looked online to see if there is any mention of it anywhere so I might find an address. None of the names mentioned in this thread bring up anything. Again. Is there more precise info?
