No Koreans in Dandong (trust me, I looked), but you should try further north along the border, you will find them in Jilin Province.

Prices in both areas are about half of what you see in China's bigger cities. Good quality can be had for only 350-400 without negotiation.

I heard there are North Koreans available in Macau too. Anyone know where?

Actually I took a trip there, it's an interesting place and I may go again some time, if I have the time and money. Does anybody of you know, whether there are cheap North Korean prostitutes in Dandong? When reading this forum I always see prices of 800 RMB or even more for girls in China, I just can't believe that this is what you have to pay.

Phil1980 if you don't mind me asking what kind of buisness are you doing in Pyonyang? Are you able to move around the city on your own, or do you always have to be in the company of a north Korean minder. Are there other foreigners using the casino, and what do you think of the city. Can you speak to the people, and are they approachable. Please some info for us expats down south who are looking at that part of the world as a place to visit, and a place to work.

So I've actually been to North Korea and hooked up with a hooker in Pyongyang, in the casino in the lower floor of the Yanggakdo Hotel (the 47-floor hotel on an island in the taedong river in Pyongyang). Actually I was kind of disappointed, I mean the girl was above average, but naturally not Korean (what I had hoped for), but Chinese from Dandong and it was expensive too (128 USD for 1 hour). So let me tell you, North Korea is no place for hookers. I read elsewhere that there are supposedly cheap Korean prostitutes hanging out around the central railway station in the evening, risking a bullet in the head for very little. Since it's difficult to leave the hotel at night and Pyongyang is dark and there are no taxis ("the taxi company is on the other side of town" is the official excuse) I couldn't check it out, besides I don't really want to come into contact with North Korean "law enforcement". Another possibility may be a massage club in the Hyangsan Hotel in Myohyangsan (a mountain resort) where I stayed, the lady costs a whuppin' 30 USD for massage, I asked the guide whether she was at least pretty and he said "so so, but her massage is very good", anyway I didn't want to try it out. I guess this is about all the prostitution you can get as a foreigner in North Korea.

Read an article recently that night life in the city pretty much centers around eating out places. They have their own version of soju as well. In the summers when it's warmer, and the power outages don't cause a freeze it's said that a lot of these eating places are a very popular way for people to meet and have sex.
