All,
Before we spread discussions about Livingstone's to all other threads of the Thailand forum some clarifications on the issues below:
- Livingstone's has some customers reading the ISG. Usually 2 or 3 are staying here at the Lodge. Sometimes - especially on weekends - more ISG guys come to the Sports Lounge.
- If ISG members are here, and I am aware of it, and I see those guys - I introduce them with the remark: "You have the same hobby". I do not mention user names or the forum. I leave it to those members whether they can get along with each other or not.
- There are no regular members here "most nights". Most nights the only ISG member who is here - is me .
- As for exchanged information: I never mention names of providers in the forum, because I know what happens if I do. Here - at my desk, talking to my customers - I sometimes mention specific providers, IF I THINK IT COULD FIT.
- Newbies: There is a maximum of 1 newbie a month arriving here at Livingstones. He will be briefed when he arrives and he talks to me. We have much more returning customers than newbies here at the Lodge.
- The advice I give to our guests has definitely not much to do with Livingstone's. I mention the good hostess bars in Soi 33 as well as other good places in the other red light districts. I try to give honest advice, that's basically it.
- I don't know whether we saved our customers money in the past, but if we see them being ripped-off we will intervene - of course. And we will give them the advice to buy gems/clothes/etc. in the cheaper places we know.
- It is possible that we saved some customers some time - I sometimes draw maps to give the customers an overview where the places are he could be interested in . I think that saves time ...
Now - there are more important things in life than Livingstone's and the ISG. And there are some people here who take things way to serious.
Bottom Line: We are running a hotel in Bangkok. We try to provide the best service for our customers, including the best advice we can give. But: This is NOT the ISG Hotel Bangkok!
And: We do not rip-off anybody!

And yeah, so as not to have it turn into what you refer to, I'll say the rest in PM.
But what you say clarifies a bit, can definitely see the attraction for some to wanna participate in sth like that. Still wouldn't be too into it myself, personally, but can understand how many would.

People can read all they want in the forum, but writing is a little tiring, especially for people like us (English being my 3rd language) so the experiences are shortened, some info is voluntarily left out.
If I have a FAV somewhere, I am not likely to post her name anywhere on ISG... because if I do, then I might kiss her goodbye as she will be booked solid for the next few months (yes, ISG has that power).
Now can you tell me of a place where you can go, have a drink and freely talk about your Hobby? As ISG members, we are all in some way attracted to pussy, but staying at a regular hotel, can you really discuss this? and if yes, with who?
@ LL, you will surely bump into Fellow ISG members, junior or senior, but that always lead to some great conversations and you can get great insight on some places that few would visit (see my post on the smaller Cowboy bars for example).
Most ISG tourists come to LOS for sex and I, for one think this is very important that they stay somewhere where they will be "understood" and even encouraged to discuss their hobby.
Some might disagree, but to each their own.
By the way, where are the Pro and TT ? are these shit disturbers dead or what? we talk about LL for 3 posts in a row and these guys have not showed up yet? what the fuck? is this forum really changing? (for the better... LOL)

Perhaps not exactly on this thread, but check most others, and there are constant posts of "send me her contact details", even the skill of a PM being somewhat of a lost art.
For me, the recommendation of a place and a girl sufficient, I'll go see if I can find her myself, evaluate her appeal to me, and act accordingly. And if I can't find her, well, in most venues anywhere, there's more than 1 provider. And other venues...
But that's just me.
I happen to stay at the Royal President, Soi 15, as I like their serviced apt layout, with the large fridge, and large room, because I do spend more time in the room than probably most, given that I'm also here to relax and I've seen most of the tourist sights that interest me.
But it does take all types. I've never stayed at LL, so can't speak specifically about it. Given it's still in business, must be doing something right.
It's just one of many possibilities... To each his own

The short version is yes. LL's name might come up more often....because Giotto has own sub-forum.
The longer version is this happens just not at LL but other 'hang-outs', and not just in LOS. For instance, if a group of guys get together at the Beergarten or Thermae, same banter occurs. When guys meet up in say Beijing (Maggie's) or Shanghai (old Tong Ru Lu bars), same.
I, for one, wish folks would provide more info on-line. But some of the sub-forums have a distinct sub-culture to them,eg, Malaysia (always worried about the 'men in black') and your favorite haunt, Vietnam!.
In fact, I remember distinctly a recent exchange (of which I was involved) where a few vehemently argued that it was not 'safe' to share/provide good info on the forum. http://www.internationalsexguide.inf...&postcount=317
If I quoted you out of context, my apologies.

Posts: 608So what you are saying is that you do not write accurate informaiton on here, you keep it all to yourselves and have a little buddies meeting at LL, then come on to ISG and hype up LL to get customers for their rooms?
Which parlour offers the best service. Thats easy, Tulip, Mango and Snow White.
Best selection. Go to Ratchada to the big massage places.
Performing well. Tulip, Mango, Snow White. Say no more.
I would be very suspect of information given "in the flesh" and not given on the forum. Perhaps they are trying to get you to go to certain places as they get kick backs from mamasan and the owner?
Yet more "marketing" of LL. Go there and get "secret informaiton"
LOL
Its utter nonsense and of course, perhaps you can see why I have to point out the nonsense otherwise the gang of LL "friends" would have you doing Bangkok only their way, in their "friends" places and probably earning them a few freebies in the process.
LOL

If you are on holidays for a few nights, you do not want to "try your luck" too much, you want to know exactly where to go and who to meet so that you maximize your SOGs (unless you fuck 14 times a day like the Rabbit)

can you give an example of the specific kind of info given out at ll that would save you wasted time and money?
i often see this kind of comment about this place, always in these kinds of general/vague terms, but just wonder what they could be advising that might be considered valuable. it's a bit like advising people how they can best enjoy a rollercoaster.
to me, it seems like if you take a quick stroll in any direction in the sukhumvit area, you're gonna have a hard time avoiding places where action is. and it's not like there's places rep001tered around that are going to prey on newcomers, more like the opposite. i mean, ok, avoid the taxi touts tryign to usher you to massage places... but is that piece of pretty obvious info worth staying a bit far from the action for?

Soi 4 or Soi 6 is a good location for newbies.
I would suggest the http://www.dynastygrande.com/ hotel as a good starter place.
