I am due to go to Lagos in a couple of weeks. Can someone recommend some nice hotels equipped with WG? I am considering the Sheraton Ikeja (random choice). Any advice?

Just to let you fellow punters know that La Playa Suites has a happy hour on a Thursday evening with half price drinks from 8pm to 10pm. There is a small disco and a bunch of ladies there. I went there last Thursday to check out the place. There were about 10 oyibos and 20 ladies. The lady that I got talking with is not a full time bar girl but is obviously game for some extra income. I was genuinely tired and left the place early. I will check it out on another Thursday when I have more energy.

If you are looking for a place that is less full on than somewhere like Pats and the chance for cheap drink then you may want to give it a try. La Playa is behind ShopRite in Oniru.

Before anybody asks, I am nothing to do with the hotel. Merely an occasional punter.

Those bar girls are a big waste of time and more hassle than it's feckin worth. There is just sooooo much good pussy available in Lagos and all it takes is 30 mins hanging around in Palms or Silverbird and you'll have a choice of several. Many chicks just want to fuck a white guy purely for either the novelty or the fantasy/thrill and don't even expect a single Naira. You'll get her friend's contact numbers just for asking and very soon your contacts will be full to overflowing.

Opebi Road is certainly within striking distance so I will give it a try. I will be there and largely free from mid Saturday afternoon and all Sunday. I will report back later in April

Go along to Palm's Mall, there are plenty of chicks wandering around looking for some pocket money - grab yourself one (or two) for N 5,000 a time. Bar girls are trouble - keep clear!

I just want to add that I fully agree with BW69. I took heed of his advice some time back and now try to restrict myself to girls that moonlight for a bit of extra money. They all seem to be less wahalah than the full time bar girls.
