Hi,
I am a long time user of this forum, and I enjoy the forum a lot. I think in this times we need to support all the havy supporter of this forum. I will be in BKK in mid may, and as I can read it is not easy right now for the livingstone's lodge. So yes there are a lot lot lot of hotel in BKK, but I will support giottos efforts by bokking there right now.
Yes we all can get good deals this time in other placec, but noeone from these hotels has ever realy supportet the forum like he did. So maybe its the right time to book there.
I have nothing to do with the lodge, and I don't get mony for this, I just had the feeling to write what I am thinking.
And mybe, there will be a nice crouwd in the lodge in mid may and we all have a lot of fun in the sports bar.
So happy hunting to all of you.

The managements of hotels located around Ratchaprasong interection and nearby areas this morning announced that for safety reason they will close from noon on Tuesday to April 25, reports said.
The hotels include Grand Hyatt Erawan, Holiday Inn, Intercontinental and Centara Grand.
“We have asked our guests to check out at noon as our hotel will stop providing services at that time,” a staff member at the Intercontinental hotel said on Tuesday morning.

Posts: 376Any update on Grand Hyatt
I am scheduled to fly into Bangkok the 30th and stay at the Grand Hyatt. Just wondering if there is anyone there right now that might provide an update on the situation with that particular hotel. I know they are very close to the demonstrations and access to the hotel right now is limited. Would appreciate any advice.
Right now my backup plan would be the J.W. Marriott or the Conrad or just give up the whole idea of Bangkok and stay in Singapore for that weekend.
