Hi guys,
Let's not turn this Travel Plans & Announcements thread into a discussion thread.
The Forum provides numerous other threads for discussing visas, airlines, hotels, apartments for rent, restaurants, places to visit, where to find chicas, etc.
Thanks,

These apartments can range from 3500 baht to maybe 15,000 baht. The cheaper in general you will see them located in a more condense area building right up against each other with clothes hanging outside the windows or balconies. These apartment generally do not have tubs with shower and toilet all in one as I call it. You be lucky if one of these places have WiFi but generally have Internet shops just outside of Apartments.
Here is a few samples:
Simmporm Apartment, located on or just off 3rd road on the corner across from X-Zyte night club. 373/2 M.9 Pattaya 3rd Rd. Mobile: 083-7111202 or 081-4517999, monthly rate is 5,000-6,000 baht excluding electric and water.
There is another apartment down from this place towards Soi Buakhao, with a coffee shop outside monthly is 3,500 per month, but is generally full for months. Sorry never got a card because they never seem to have one!
SaengChan Mansion: 64/2 Moo 9, Chalermphrakiat 19, lost track but I think 7,000 baht per month. 038-720988-9
Smile Mansion: 66/39 Moo 9 Soi Buakaow, smile_mansion@hotmail.com lost track but I think 7/8,000 per month.
My stereotype is the more clothes hanging out the cheaper it gets!

I've used Mr. T taxi services several times in the past and never had a problem with them so far. From Pattaya to Bangkok, the prices are usually cheaper (900 or 1000 baht including tolls, or 800-850 baht not including tolls with other taxi companies).

Hi all,
I hope that everyone is well. My usual destination was Belgium or Germany until now. I stopped in BKK on my way to Australia for a couple of days in March and the result is I am travelling again but planning to stay in Pattaya. I have been reading talk on the best place to stay, I have not made up my mind yet but would like to stay near LKM, probably Pasadena lodge.
With all the trouble in BKK I am planning to travel directly to Pattaya, I would appreciate if someone comments on safest way to travel. I am travelling alone and also looking forward to meet fellows.
Cheers,
Mido

Posts: 29I think aslong as you stay out of the financial area and city centre area, you should be fine. I've talked to a few thai chicks that live near Sukhumvit area and they said it's safe aslong as you avoid the redshirt areas. I have no plans to cancel and I am going at the end of May. I read bangkokpost.com everyday too to see the news or updates.

Hi Mankosuki,
I appreciate your intentions, but with all due respect, the Travel Plans & Announcements thread is provided solely for the purpose of allowing members to announce their individual travel plans so they may connecting with other members who are also traveling to or who may live in the country.
Pursuant to this purpose, the Travel Plans & Announcements thread is routinely purged of it's posts as they quickly become irrelevant.
Experience has proven that when members post questions in the Travel Plans & Announcements thread, the thread quickly turns into a discussion thread.
The Forum provides numerous other threads for discussing visas, airlines, hotels, apartments for rent, restaurants, places to visit, where to find chicas, etc.
I would very much appreciate it if you would consider re-posting this info in one of these established threads.
Thanks,
Jackson
