It has been an interesting and bizarre few days from my last post. I did call Carlos at KF to ask that he send over the quite attractive chica that I had spoken to earlier at KF (see prior post). She arrived an hour late in mid-afternoon at my hotel accompanied by an escort from KF who recommended that I book her for 2 hours; not the one hour I had requested. In retrospect it was a mistake to only schedule her for one hour as this young chica rocked my mundo. Oddly enough, even though the KF menu price said it was one hour for $100, Carlos only asked for $80. She was so good, and given the cost, I should have requested two hrs. However, 1 hour provides unlimited access and fun. No holes barred so to speak. A porn star experience.

Originally, I was considering having her come to the beach with me starting tomorrow (Monday). However, the weather here has been just awful with a tropical depression storm settled in over most of CA. Terrific downpours with closed highways to the beach from SS and general chaotic travel conditions. It may clear on Tuesday, in which case, I will reconsider inviting the girl down. Because of the cost (as I am taking her out of KF) I am also thinking that tomorrow may be a good day to check out LIPS and see if I can pull someone from there instead for a little beach break. Do any of you guys know if the LIPS girls are agreeable to this idea? Additionally, over the weekend I had an unfortunate and preventable accident created by a real bonehead that has created a minor physical issue for me. With the help of an excellent doctor in SS that issue should be only a minor hindrance by mid-week.

When I finish with someone in any casa, my attitude is always get the hell out of there, I have got what I want, and figure I can come back later or the next day. If you stay, maybe they think you actually care about them!

As a semi-frequent visitor to Lima I thought that I should add my first impressions of San Salvador as I arrived yesterday. I wanted to see Kiss Fresh first off as it the most mentioned place in this section. Overall, it was quite positive though most of the girls, even though young, are little gorditas. The main guy there (Carlos) who functions as sort of a Maitre d'putas speaks very good English and was very helpful. After my first session with a friendly lite brown hair chica, he wanted to know how it was.

When I arrived at the door after the obligatory patdown, a girl led me to a couch and Carlos came over and explained that it was $40 for an hour with a chica, however, if I picked someone immediately from the line-up, it was only $35 plus a Corona. Most of the girls who strolled by in the line-up did not provide a lot of eye contact. Never a good sign. But the final gal did with a big smile included so she won the lottery. I ended up buying her drink ($10) though I did have the option of heading upstairs immediately and skipping the drink. Total cost with $5 propina was $50. The rooms and general ambience have been well documented elsewhere on the board so I will skip any further description of that aspect. It appears that multiple pops are allowed as after the first go, she immediately dived back in for the 2nd BBBJ, asking permission, of course, first. It was sort of a half assed CIM but overall a yeoman like performance by the chica.

Afterwards, we went back to the bar on the main floor and she was hanging with me perhaps a little bit too long. Like Charlie Sheen says 'I don't pay for sex, I pay them to leave'. Finally she got the hint and I had some opportunity to see if I missed someone else on the first viewing. I also talked to the helpful Carlos and mentioned that I was traveling to other parts of the country and hinted that I was looking for company. He brought over a super hot, thin, gal with lustrous black straight hair. Maybe the only real hottie in there. In my mind, a nine or ten on the Richter scale. Anyway, he offered me a 'deal' where I could take this chica to the beach for 12 hours at the same price as 6 hours. Well, she is super hot but the price was quite steep for this part of the world though I have the weekend to decide if I want to take take the plunge since I am not going to the playa until Monday. We also went over the house menu and some of the girls various tastes (I. E. Anal anyone?) and he also noted that they do 'house calls'. I think its $100 for an hour/$70 for 1/2 hr. Also, a new one for me is the 3 girl or HAAT Trick special. That would be $135 for an hour. Hmmmmmm.

On balance, compared to Lima or as a specific example, Tequila Rocks, the whole setup is quite a bargain. However, the city itself appears to have its limitations, which is described below. For me flying from the American west, it's an easy and inexpensive flight compared to the 8 hour haul to Lima and the red eye return. From Houston, Continental leaves for SS at 5:50 and arrives at 7:50. With the one hour time difference that's 3 hours of flight time.

On a general note, it rained all day here (its rainy season), and there does not appear a lot to do. The city is really spread out. From my hotel in Zona Rosa to Kiss Fresh was $6 or $7 for the cab one way. To go to the Multiplaza from Zona, it's $5 one way. I tried to do some limited strolling today and it was very difficult to cross the street. Almost impossible in some instances. It is simply not pedestrian friendly like say Miraflores in Lima. I also went to the best museo in the city, a short stroll from my hotel and it ain't Paris. In fact, the entry fee is $1. 50 and when I gave her $10, she did not have enough change and gave me an IOU, which I cashed in on my exit. Safety, at least, in Zona Rosa does not appear to be an issue. Not to mention the guys toting the AK-47's at every business door must be an effective deterent.

I will be visiting other parts of the country such as a nice lake town and the beach so I have not formed a complete opinion yet of ES. I have an American women friend who is arriving in a few days and we are traveling to a little town for a short visit as she has work in SS after that. Since this is a platonic friendship, having Fresh Kiss as a sideline option is a great alternative.

First, note the address, it is on Calle El Algodon, but actually down the hill maybe 1000 ft from where U-turn right at the Diamante restaurant. It is easy enough to find, first they have the website address (wow, how hitech is that?) on the front of the building, second there is a guy with a big shotgun. You get the patdown, and go in, it is $4 cover, which includes one drink.

It is a little disconcerting for this guy, used to as I am to Colombian casas, they have four screens showing XXX porn, screens which probably could be better used to show NFL football. The music (reggaeton, which I do not like), is also blaring away. Once you get past that, the chicas come out, I'd say there were about 20 of them, and they stand in a semicircle in front of you, looking extremely bored. I said I wanted to finish the beer, and did so, they all shuffled back to the other room.

In the end, I choose Brittany, who was quite friendly after she got a drink out of me ($10), and then up we went for $40 hour long ride. They have these menus on the couches downstairs, as a Canuck and a hockey fan, I had to like the 'haht-trick'idea, it is $135, but I don't think it is really worth it. She was pretty good, gave me the nice masaje, then BBBJ, and we made a pretty good mess of the bed.

Seems like a good enough place, I am breaking the unwritten rule by going back and seeing her again before I leave here, but she was fun, so what the hell. Would recommend it to anyone, and it is very close to the International, just a 10 minute walk up the hill, area seems very safe.

I am traveling next week from the US for a couple of weeks. I can barely find any information on safety issues or any other general discussions, such as travel blogs, regarding the current situation in ES; mongering or otherwise, so it should be an interesting trip.

In SS, I plan to check out KF and Lips, stay in a small beach town with some surfing opp's, take a spanish course, and visit a mountain/lago town called Suchitoto. Also, staying in a relatively new hotel in SS (Suites Las Palmas) but don't know if it is GF. If anyone has any info on this hotel, please let me know.

Reading through these forums has definitely got me excited for a trip down to ES. It seems like a perfect quick trip getaway from Texas, plus I've seen some great last minute airfairs ( $300).

I wish this forum was a bit more active and current. As a quick recap, it seems that KF is the end-all-be-all of SS mongering. From what I've read about it, the setup seems great. Sorta like a poor mans FKK German club, or maybe a Therma in Rio? What I'm less certain of down here is how the take out or TLN service is. I love heading to a place where you can hang out and take girls back as you wish, but at the end of the night, I love to have someone to take back to the hotel. I don't really know how to go about setting this up down here. My Spanish is passable, but really not too good. Over the phone can be pretty tough for me.

In general, I'm not super worried about safety (I don't do blatenlty stupid or gringo things). I don't mind heading into so-so neighborhoods, but I am not dumb either, I don't blend in with the locals real well, so I am cognizant about that.

What do people who are more experienced with SS do for a TLN? I'd love to know more and keep watching for the last minute flight specials to experience it for myself.

Coming down in a few weeks for my first time visit. Enjoyed reading your post but it is from January 2008 and wondering if you could update the current situation there as it pertains to safety, new clubs/restaurants/hotels etc. Also, plan a beach trip (hope to find a local chica for company) and that would probably be La Libertadad.

I am an "Ex Pat"

I reside here in El Salvador. A long time. I am part of a small travel cooperative based in San Salvador, advisor, travel consultant that has put up a great Website Portal on El Salvador in English serving visitors from abroad, catering to Adventure and Independent travelers. Native driver/owner able to pick you up at Airport & transport you around San Salvador nights, beach or countryside days if you wish. Good hotel deals, 3 nights or more. I have lived and worked in Central America for many years and can offer a few common sense and updated security advices that can save you a lot of grief, hassles and money. Message me, but do not expect me to send you on line neither detailed travel nor "mongering" details online, nor too many "details" in fact. My time is valuable, as is yours. I am "older" and a bit "old fashioned" in that I like to deal with people after meeting face to face, look in their eyes and read their body language. Upon arrival in San Salvador we can meet for Coffee or Lunch. Some of the "Comedores" or small cafeterias offer great lunches for about $2-3US, I don't drink alcohol (but don't mind if you do) and I always advise keeping a low profile and moderation in travel activities.

For those who do not speak Spanish well, or at all, I recommend contracting a local driver/owner, ours speaks English, to handle your transportation and all other little shitty details. I speak Spanish however I get stressed out almost every day over little "mandados y malentendidos" I am seeking a good woman for companionship, plenty here.

Many of the "Club Bars" that operate in San Salvador will soon be closed by the Alcaldia (Mayors Office) due to increased crime, within and without the Clubs in recent times, I have todays newspaper article regarding the issue (pdf) español, will send url if you message me.

There are now serious security issues in all the Central American capital city. Including SJ, Costa Rica, which is getting very dangerous at night.

The small towns and beaches outside the capital city of San Salvador relatively safe and if you meet a nice lady, they all love the beach! Be very careful of your passport, credit/debit cards, excess cash and other valuables and always stay in a lodging place with safe or hotel lock box, don't carry around your passport (a photocopy will do) except one hotel to another or when leaving the country.

Most of the working girls in El Salvador are single mothers and most of the girls will not steal unless tempted, so don't tempt them.

The "daytime" establishments are more casual, especially if you arrive before 4PM during the week, often you can find a lady to accompany a night or so to the beach. Take your time, buy girls a beer, talk one on one, often chemistry is more important than "looks", once I was with a Nicaraguensa (Nica), who had looks and body that would put a Penthouse Pet to shame, after 5 minutes she started looking at her watch and told me to "hurry up", my ding dong went down and stayed down. I have a couple of "ordinary looking" lady friends here that give me the time of my life in the sack because we know and like each other. Poco a poco, se va lejos. Little by little one goes far.

Nightime can be a hassle in some clubs, dark, dangerous, most customers are locals and many (male customers) are just low lifes, active alcoholics and drug users, some with a chip on their shoulder (just like at home! )

If you drink, never become so intoxicated you become vulnerable. There are alot of reports recently of "Dormilonas" in Night Clubs (Mickey Finn. Ruffies, etc.) never accept drinks nor "rides" from strangers, especially overly friendly English speaking guys you don't know. Always best to have a local driver with you at night when in San Salvador.

Overall, this was almost certainly one of the best experiences I've had in SS in over fifteen years and I wish Choi continued prosperity. Now the bad news: I lost Choi's card.

It just goes to show that sometimes no amount of planning or inside knowledge can compare to random good fortune. I had a similar experience years ago in Nepal that defied anything on the board. It is why I firmly believe in finding a knowledgeable and loyal driver or cabbie for the entire stay as it has always opened doors and allowed me to relax and enjoy the ride.

On a recent Thursday, 1:30 in the afternoon, many chicas in the place. Unfortunately, all except one were overweight and out of shape. But, one was all it took. Although with the low prices, and the tempting menu with dupla and 'haht trick' on offer it would have been nice if the quality was better. Kiss Fresh is a great set-up, nice facility, very comfortable (even with the blaring music and lack of in-room bathrooms). It is so conducive to partying with the girls, sort of a waste that it's a daytime only place.

Sorry I don't know the exact location. And I was wrong on the name, it was Lover's Bar, it was in the same little mall as The Office, about a 5 minute cab ride from Meson Maria Hotel where I stayed, in San Benito.
