Will be in Haiti for ten days starting this coming weekend. I would like to know if anyone can tell me of an inexpensive hotel that has hot water and is clean and safe, and inexpensive that I can go to. Most decent hotels are really expensive in Haiti I find for what one gets in return. If you have a phone number, address, name of the place and possibly a contact person. Cannot wait to enjoy some delicious chocolate............I have not read thru the forum to see if there are night clubs safe for a white boy in Haiti, if anyone has a good suggestion please tell me. If anyone can direct me I would appreciate it!

Much has been said on this board about the mongering scene in Haiti relative to the DR. And it's a given that things have changed markedly in Haiti post-earthquake ..... or have they?? I'd be interested in your impressions of the place compared to your experiences in the DR. I have been to neither as yet. No need to feel you should persuade me in either direction as I remain open to both. They're quite different cultures, obviously. Feel free to use the open board or a pm.

They would come over in the late afternoon and stay until just after dark. Once Biggen came and I was in the bedroom with all three of them. My canadian room mate told Biggen that I had been sick and I was probably asleep. He knew Biggen was jealous so he was trying to head her off. When I came out of the room with the three honeys, Biggen said, "I thought you were sick" I responded with yes, I was so sick it took 3 nurses to re-cooperate me.
