I'm planning a short visit to Seoul some time at the end of the year on my way for a vacation in Vietnam and I'm just curious what are the chances for a Vietnamese American at these rld's? Though I'm Vietnamese I look very East Asian and the last time I was in Seoul I was mainly mistaken as Korean or Japanese even by other Japanese tourists. Should I pretend to be a gyopo that doesn't know Korean?

My buddy is in visiting for a few days from USA. We used to be roomies here in Korea, so I let him crash at my pad and even helped him out with some cash.
