You may be better off with Filipina Heart. Never been down that route myself as I have always found it easy to get a Filipina date/GF by going to the Filipina bars/clubs (non-WG) in Dubai, of which there are plenty.

Lostwodpun has tried out Filipina Heart with varying levels of success. Might be worth a PM to him.

Cool! I knew there were phones that did it but I was not sure which on. Know what Im buying now.

The new HTC Legend does it....and the soon to be released in Dubai HTC desire has that function built in. BEWARE though that these are smart phones can be a bit of learning curve. However people often forget that youtube is a wonderful resource for how to do videos on the net.

Guys for those of you that know their way around mobile phones the new HTC android phones have a great little feature that allows you to automatically block the call when you put a tick next to a number in your phone. There is even an sms app for android now that will automatically hide sms from blacklist numbers and put them under lock and key. Wonderful device.

Yeah FH was pretty good in the getting me laid but I also got a stalker out of it. Going on 4 months since I met/ditched her and she still does not let my phone rest. Yes I refuse to change my number. If you are truley single and not bad looking you will have plenty of bites. You will also get lots of nibbles that will waist your time.....

Hello, team,

Its been a long time since I have posted anything. Having the last 8 months out due to the fact that I met a lovely Filipina, based in Dubai. Non WG (as far as I know. More to follow on that) and haven't needed to peruse the site.

I have read, in the past and talked to friends who have dated Regular non WG Filipinas, about the nuances of dating a Filipina girl. I should have listened and approached with more caution.

First things first, I met with this girl and her friends. Awesome night out and decided to follow up, with a few more nights out over the course of a month, when work would allow. Things were outstanding. The sex was great. In the top 1%. Relationship wise was also great. At the time though something always nagged at the back of my mind. Something I couldn't quite put my finger on. But I put it down to being in a new relationship, still trying to find that right fit, so to speak.

Christmas came, brought the usual gifts, even went to PI with the girl. I enjoyed the trip, but thats where things started to unravel a little.

Jealousy. Everyone who I have talked to, who has ever dated a Fili, told me to be careful on the whole issue of jealousy. I played it off and decided to blaze my own trail. Well in Manila we did the club scene. I'm 6'2, so not short and have been told I look Misti-so, which is a Filipino / Spanish mix, so I garnered a fair amount of attention, from what were obvious working girls. My girl hated it. They would approach regardless of the fact that she was swinging off my arm. I kept telling them to disappear, but to my girl it was all my fault. I kept the reassurances up, but she still couldn't let it go. Needless to say the rest of the trip was spent trying to keep her happy.

Back in Dubai, I prepared to head back to work. (I don't work in Dubai. Just based out of there). Over the course if a week, things dramatically changed in our relationship. Jealousy was an ever present thing. With me not even being able to joke about other girls, for fear of being stabbed in my sleep. Now I'm a laid back sort of guy. Nothing really phases me too much, but I was being stifled and I could feel that she was trying to change me.

With the inevitable about to happen, I decided to get her onside once more. Hell no, her emotions were all over the place. I can only liken it to being Bi-polar. Extreme highs, to extreme lows. No middle ground. Time to bail out. Good thing was she made it easy for me to walk away.

She made a last ditch email and phone call, as I was back at work by this stage, I refused. I'm a 32 year old male, should I have to put up with these childish things? So she is now been extracted from my life.

I look on the bright side of life though. Now I can get back to my mongering ways, which I have to admit, I have had a great time over the last few years. Made some great friends while out on the prowl.

Word of advice for you guys, those that are looking either to sweep a Fili WG off her feet and try to have a normal relationship or even just a regular Fili. Be very careful with them. Yes they are the Asian velvet glove in bed, yes they are fun to be around. Use caution on the whole jealousy thing. They are very, very jealous.

(PS. Its funny how I always had a nagging thought in the back of my mind about this girl. It dawned on me a little while ago, that she was a WG in Dubai. Which wouldn't have been a problem with me. But honesty in my books still goes a long way.).

Five fingers are not equal. To generalize would not be correct. Again in our expatriate times, these Filis give us the warmth of home and away and time simply passes quickly.

While I have been backstabbed several times by the same ones, but I can't think of life without them in the Gulf region ! I might be wrong, but I am sure there are many who would concur !

Essentially until you have some level of reporting there is always this shadow of suspicion that you may be LE, even after you report some people (myself) will want to meet you before passing any phone number or contact details.

I always considered the LE angle to be pretty minimal - after all, they know where the girls are, though it certainly could happen.

It could also be some "civilian" looking to help LE with a tip...

What I, and perhaps others, were/are more concerned about is we don't hook up a friend with someone who will not be friendly. Especially if they have a name introduction from a "good" customer to lower her defenses. Everyone who's lived in dxb and got to know the wg's has heard the horror stories...

Even giving out a phone number might cause some grief if it's not well "kept": a girl works hard to keep the same number as that's how the repeat business contacts her, and does not want it cluttered up, along with sms's, by annoying phone calls. I remember I was with a fav when she got several phone calls, explaining in between that she didn't know who they were from, he wouldn't identify himself. I had her hand me the phone, and simply asked "Who is this? I have your number." She never mentioned being bothered again.

I never gave out a girl's number unless I had her permission. And that permission was always with the caveat "as long as he's like you".

Now like can be interpreted a number of different ways, as in

• Same nationality
• Same color (not politically correct, just a fact of business there)
• Same size wallet
• Same demeanor

What was always clear was she expected me to know the person, as in eyeball-to-eyeball know, not someone I'd never met.

Finally, you have to have confidence that the receiver will take the same care with the number that you do. Human nature, you get something for free, it can be less valuable than something you had to work for. IMHO, anyway.

And the retort of "what's the big deal, she's just a wh*re, she'll want the business" is exactly why I WAS cautious.

I think i have been very open about this in the past, but surprisingly the same day i posted talking about this someone with 0 reports was contacting me for girl's details... I kindly tried to explain this on a language that could be easily understood.

And yes, i think dubai offers much more than AD in terms of recreational activities. You may try to hook up with some people to visit the places.

But it's the group that provides the actual information, and we're not paid. We post because we've found the forum useful, in the very means that you state, and want to give something back.

So you're relying on members' unpaid good nature to answer questions... I was just pointing out what MIGHT lead to a higher success ratio.

I'm the first to admit, I can't see into the future. All depends on your neighbors. If you're cool and not a bother, they tend to be the same.

Also depends on your nationality and theirs. If a fellow "brother" (read non-westerner) is misbehaving, then some might take offense (or be jealous enough to make a complaint).

If you want more info (true for anyone), it'd be best to establish some credibility first. 2 posts, one asking for (in essence) contacts, not really the way to generate good will and responses. You might not like the bar scene, but reporting on it does help establish your bona fides.

Sorry I was not aware of the ground rules. So far I have been in AD I have experienced the bar scene not to be much to write home about unless you like PRC girls or from Ubekistan. Not even seen a Russian girl. I have been to Blitz many times but have found I have been admiring the fili band than seeing anything of interest in the crowd. Been to Illusions. Paid the 150 AED to get in only to find its choca full of Ubek girls wanting 2000-2500 AED. Reports of others are not also promising. Have not yet ventured to Dubai. Maybe a dawn on the horizon?

Decided there must be better activities than the AD bars. Sensu my question.
