    Puerto Galera

    I'm in PG now and the previous posts are still 100% correct.

    It's very quiet and if you don't have your girlie chosen by 9PM all the good ones will be gone.

    There is no Short Time in PG also so one they are gone they ain't coming back.

    That being said the girls are great with plenty of lookers and all have fun attitudes.

    One thing though, do any of the previous posters know where to get some lube? Plenty of rubbers available but can't find anything to assit the slip and slide.

    Tried in SM in Batangas and none there either.

    My first time there, I got screwed 'buying' a hotel before seeing it. Not more.

    You surivived: I had the fun of walking on a high tide, all the way from Portofina to The Big Apple. Damn. (PS: Portofina has a nice American Manager. Who goes the extra step to make sure you get good food. And more than makes you homely. I was there during last thanksgiving weekend. And he made it special for me and my gf adding a turkey slice on house)

    Good one mate, taking time to compose the whole stuff.

    PG has it's place, but as you say, if you are looking for girls. AC it is.

    PG is for relaxing and enjoying some dives.

    Hey great post.

    Funny about the blonde girls - lol

    Please post photos of your whole trip in the photo section. Love to see what the beaches and town looks like. And the filipinas too of course.

    Weather was good the entire time I was there, and the typhoon in Luzon missed us, but it rained every night. Still was sunny every day. If anyone wants photos I can post. Let me know.

    Sabang is no AC, but is there really anyplace like AC?

    New Direction

    I wanted to take this thread to a new direction since I realize it has gotten off track of late. No doubt, it was at my writing, but my original purpose was to write a FR of my latest trip to Sabang, where I spent 19 days during the month of July.

    I did a bit of research from the thread at first, and unfortunately, I have to report not much has changed. I can offer all the pros and cons.

    Getting There:

    I took the bus from City State Tower Hotel in Ermita. The bus leaves at 8 am and after arriving in Batangas you are lead to the connecting ferry by a Sikat agent. The bus takes about 3 hours and the boat about 1.5 hours. Cost was 700 peso one way, 1400 round trip open ticket. Don't Book a hotel from the ferry terminal in Batangas as you will get a better deal when you get there in Sabang. I cannot comment about White Beach though. And it was low season.

    Where to Stay:

    I stayed at the Seashore Resort. I rented a little bungalow for 1000 peso a night. Little kitchen and porch with ocean view (second floor). In the high season everything is double or triple. You can stay at different resorts in Sabang for the same price that have pools but smaller rooms and better restaurants, just do some checking before you commit. I also had to pay in cash as their credit card machine was "broken". (uh-huh)

    This is a huge pain in the ass as there is no cash machine in Sabang. You can rent a little scooter guy to take you into Puerto Galera for 100 peso, which is the nearest ATM which will allow you to take out 10,000 peso at one time. Or, you can go to the money changer in Sabang, and use your credit card to get money and they will charge you 6% interest (no thank you MF!).

    Also, I would not recommend Big Laguna or Little Laguna as I went to some BG houses over there and it was a pain in the ass to walk along the beach at night after a few drinks to get there. Only took a few minutes but still, it was a pain in the ass. (IMHO)

    Sabang has 6 gogo bars and Sunset disco is closed and up for sale. A few massage parlors are available during the day, and you can party all night at Venus disco (Live band sometimes on the weekends) or at Big Apple's.

    Mostly I hung out at Broadway because it has a bar on the bottom floor, a disco (girly bar on the second floor), and a gym (open during the day) on the third floor. It was a nice way to start the night.

    I barfined from all the bars and its 1000 peso to the bar and 1000 peso to the girl in the morning, non negotosh as far as I know. For me, that always included two pops. I did this for 10 days straight, but on days 11 -14 some girls stayed late and went and got food and came back to the room to cook breakfast and hang out and watch TV. Days 14-19 I fell in "Like" and kept the same girl and rented a motorbike for 600 peso and went to the falls, Calapan, White Beach for the day, etc... you know did the BF/GF thing. She even went with me all the way to Manila and saw me to Airport blah, blah, blah.

    I thought, man, this chick is really working hard for a tip! I told her only 2000 per day and thats it, but when in Manila she asked for 15,000 peso! I still gave her 2000 per day. But she got an extra 1000 and dinner in Manila, so whatever. Still, great GFE from all the girls.

    I did run out of steam/ stamina on day 10 though and thought if I do ever come back to Sabang I would need to go on some kind of work out/ hard core fitness routine for a few months before hand. I guess if I was still in my 20's I could do it, but not anymore. :(.

    Still, Mindoro was beautiful and relaxing, with the waterfalls and diving and beaches.

    Speaking of the beaches, White Beach was a good day trip, but not for mongering. Too many tourist and no go go bars. They had one bar with a Ladyboy show that was entertaining, but that was it for nightlife, and you only need to see that once. As for pussy, forget it unless you want Korean tourist pussy during the day.

    And speaking of Korean, I would say the entire place is about 80% Korean. Maybe 10% Japanese, and 10% European and Australian. I was the only American there. The pinay freaked out when I said I was American. "What are you doing here?" They asked. I would tell them that I was there for the diving, but I actually never did any diving.

    Mostly I would be out all night, come home when the sun came up, eat some breakfast early morning or fuck and then eat, and sleep all day and do it again the next night. I never really got into the diving thing, but that is what most people did there.

    So, I would say, with well over 50 dive sites, ranging from open water 1 to advanced/master diver, if you are a diver and like warm water and phils pussy with no hassle barfine, then Sabang is a good spot to be.

    I can also attest to the Korean sweep. Those dudes are out in the bars by 6pm and got the hot chicks by 8pm and back in the rooms fucking by 9. I would be just going out and these guys would be coming back to the resorts in packs, that's how they travel, each with a hottie. I cannot imagine what high season would be like. Probably more competitive.

    As another aside, during high season, there are two floating bars anchored out in the bay. They were not there when I was there as I guess they cannot keep up with the tides or storms, but during high season, with live bands my guess is that would be quite a party.

    A group of Aussie chicks were at Broadway every night (staying at Big Apple resort). Some nice blonds in that group. They had been on holiday for a month or so. Literally no one was giving them any attention, and it seemed like anyone could take them home. My thought was they probably were not used that! Young hot blonds and everyone wanted Filipina!

    I stand corrected

    Jesus!

    I stand corrected! To further complicate the matter, it seems you can now enter being HIV+ also. Read on from the Dept. of Homeland Security:

    On or after Jan. 4, 2010, when HIV is no longer a medical ground of inadmissibility, all cases that were held in abeyance because of HIV infection will be adjudicated according to the new law. Furthermore, HIV infection will no longer be a medical ground of inadmissibility for any application for immigration benefits pending on or after Jan. 4, 2010.

    So, my apologies to all. My data was from 2008 when I conducted the testing. I didn't know about the changes. So, I guess anyone can get in now. Fuck me!

    All those other 9 categories can be rendered non infectious or cleared up with medicine. Except HIV, Herpes, or TB. Wear a N95 face mask and cover your dick boys!

    Hep B and the Philippines

    Hepatitis B is prevalent in the Philippines, with studies showing 10-15% of the population is infected. While it can be transmitted sexually, it is also commonly transmitted during childbirth to the newborn. It's not an indication of being a bargirl; one large study showed that prevalence among bargirls is no higher than the general population.

    Hepatitis is NOT a bar for admissability into the US:

    http://uscis.gov/graphics/Medical_Exam.htm#inad

    What are “medical grounds of inadmissibility”?
    “Medical grounds of inadmissibility” is a term used when an applicant has a health condition which is a public health concern to the United States. Under the U.S. immigration laws, the medical grounds of inadmissibility are divided into four categories:

    * communicable disease of public health significance;
    * lack of required vaccinations (for immigrant visa applicants only);
    * physical or mental disorders with harmful behavior; and
    * drug abuse/drug addiction.

    What is a communicable disease of public health significance?
    A “communicable disease of public health significance” is defined in the HHS regulations that cover the required medical exam for immigration purposes and includes the following 9 infectious medical conditions:

    * severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)
    * tuberculosis (TB)
    * leprosy
    * human immunodeficiency virus (HIV/AIDS)
    * syphilis (infectious state)
    * chancroid (STD, similar to syphilis and herpes)
    * gonorrhea
    * granuloma inguinale (STD, donovanosis)
    * lymphogranuloma (STD, chlamydia)

    Another form of money making scam by the OFW people to feed the doctors pocket I guess. And some others to make a commission in referrals.

    As for US Embassy, if you say so. Yes, quite possible that they have tightened up the process. St Lukes is respected and no doctor worth their salt will sign fake papers there.

    That is one of the reason we make the "suspected candidates" (like those who seem abnormally weak, or perpetual running nose. Etc) to take their medical in St Lukes, even though the all mighty OFW Dept insists that another medical has to be done through their quack doctors.

    Welcome to Government sponsored robbery.

    Well, I thought I was pretty sure about my statement (otherwise I wouldn't have made it), but after the responses I did some research. So here it is from the pages of the US Consulate in Manila:

    The Medical Examination

    All visa applicants, regardless of age, need to complete a medical examination at the St. Luke’s Medical Center Extension Clinic (SLMCEC) before the visa interview. Applicants are advised to have their medical examinations done at least one week before their interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy in Manila.

    SLMCEC is located at 1177 J. Bocobo Street, Ermita, Manila. It is best to arrive for your medical examination between 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Applicants are served on a first come first served basis, but the order of release of the medical reports will depend on the complexity of the results of the medical examination.

    What this means to me is: there is only one place you can get the medical exam, and bribing them would be close to impossible. I do suppose that with the incubation period you could get away with it (Hep A and HIV+), but your average pinay cannot just go to any witchdoctor and get a signed piece of paper saying she is good to go.

    The exam also costs $213 USD, which is a shit load of money for a pinay. That being said, Philippines is Philippines and I guess anything is possible.

    As an aside, in some other countries (Thailand being one), the medical exam is done at the US Embassy Clinic, or at least it used to be. No room for error there.

    I guess you could have been negative when you applied and then positive later when you joined the USA. That is possible. The time between infection and the appearance of the symptoms, (the incubation period), is between two and six weeks and the average incubation period is 28 days. But that is HIGHLY unlikely as it takes well over six weeks to get the Visa application processed.

    I guess a bribe is also possible, but that would go down at the US consulate in Manila, and those dudes are not into that...that would be waaaaaayyy too much money for a pinay.

    Hey Surf, hows it goin? Nice to see you back.

    Surf there's been a few rumors goin around that you got yourself hitched to a flip, for the second time, apparently. And also that she was a dancer in AC before you guys tied the knot. Reason I ask is that a guy I know in S California married a flip thinking that she was a regular girl, and now he finds out that she's got Hep B and that her sister worked in AC. So now he's worried. Big age difference too which adds fuel. Right now, he's torn over whether to send her back to the PI or what to do. He treated her real good too but she's on the single web sites chatting and stuff. Cheating little ho. I hope you don't have the same situation.
