Don't worry about me, Master Diver, I didn't felt sad or disappointed. I were in a special situation. I have a long holiday and I were in Thailand in for 4 weeks, but have to leave for a visa run. I choosed Jakarta, this time, in a similar situation I choosed Manila. I wasn't to eager to find somebody and I had of course some opportunities. I also got quoted for 500.000 LT from quite pretty girls. I refused, since I had a all or nothing policy. The top stunner for 600.000 I would have taken, but not a lesser for that amount.
I just was sexual exhausted after 4 weeks Thailand I hoped to find a fotomodel look alike in Jakarta whose could top my Thai experience. But, I am not to disappointed about the fact that this didn't happend. I made good experience with Indonesien people, they are friendly and nice. Just the city is very dirty, transportation is difficult (grid lock and long traffic light waiting times), not much to see. Monas is Ok, but Taman Mini Indonesia was disappointing. I saw it before, (about 18 years before) but in my memory it was much better, than I experienced now. Well, I have no bad feeling against Jakarta, or Indonesia, just I wouldn't travel there again, since there are better places to go imho.

I don't think that I am such a newbie. As I wrote I was in Indonesia before. I were in Jakarta, Surabaya, Jokjakarta and of course Bali. Though long time ago. Anyway I didn't act stupid I think. I didn't rushed, I didn't showed too big interest. I flirt, I didn't approache, I got approached.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the people from Indonesia. The wast majority was friendly, helpful and honest. Though I think Jakarta is not the best place for p4p, especially since the city has no much attractions, is incredible dirty and traffic is awful. If you live there than you can have a nice time, since it's easy to get in contact with normal (good girls). Though the hunting girls (prostitutes) are not worth the travel to Jakarta. I would prefer Thailand, Philippines. Cambodia and Vietnam might be also a woth a try, but I think I will not more go to Jakarta for vacation.

The girls are much more astute and much quicker to spot someone less familiar - even if you don't seem to do anything stupid. Speaking the local language helps too. I'm shocked when you say there are girls in Top Gun asking for 1 million as that is far too much for that kind of location. You will always be approached if you're in that kind of place and a foreigner - let alone a (relatively young) bule. As a 46yo Asian, I tend to find that I have more work to do - but I would still never accept such prices especially at such a venue!

Incidentally, you don't have to be a local resident to hunt normal girls. I'm only ever there for 3 or 4 nights at a time, and it's still sufficient provided you do some homework first. Like anywhere else, the more fun you are, the more likely you are to succeed. Shortest time from first physically meeting a girl to getting her to bed with no commercial transaction was less than half an hour (she met me in my hotel). Admittedly this only happened once, but there have been many occasions where it only took a few hours.

The girls are very good at spotting guys who are just that little bit less familiar and take full advantage. It's that and the occasional guy who really doesn't know his way around and falls sucker to the prices quoted. Red Square is very much as you say it is. There is a mix of girls there - quite a few non-commercial. I've met quite a few who go there just for a girls night out, but they are susceptible to someone who can hit them with the right approach. Germany: I am from Hamburg and we have the Steindamm area close to the main train station. There you can get also a fuck for 25 to 30 €. Is it a cheap redlight district but also known for drugs etc. It is not very clean there and a lot of girls needs money to buy drugs for themselves.
