As you say, the roads are a real hazard pretty much everywhere in Asia. It's quite dangerous because when you're in Bangkok or Manila, Pattaya or Angeles, there's never a shortage of things to C. But if you don't pay just as much attention to the ground you're walking on as the girls you're passing, you can easily trip (as I found to my cost).

I have to say out of all the SE Asian destinations, Philippines hands down is the worst when it comes to their civil engineering or whatever engineering it is. The transition to steps or stairs in height or color or whatnot is pretty atrocious. Uneven pavement or floors it just goes on and on. I am constantly tripping on things or jamming my toes because of it and it isn't because I'm checking out chicks. It's because you can't see the lousy workmanship so easily.

Ezinho, nice report. I wished I could file detailed reports like you. But it's tough for me to remember all the places.

So from what I remember from yesterday:
- Wild Orchid hotel had a pool party going. Nice change of pace from the usual barhopping. Free entrance and no pressure to buy drinks. So a no loose situation really.
- Tropix has all-day happy hour on Sundays. Yea!!! And I got introduced to the white manager and the Philipino manager. They bought me a drink each, and a couple of regulars did too. And then some more drinks appeared, somehow. All complimentary, so no dirty tricks. Only planned to stay for 1 beer and quickly check out the girls. Ended up downing about 10 San Mig Lights. Tip: girl #140 there has an awesome body: slim build with big, luscious knockers. Unfortunately she has some really crappy teeth.
- it seems like every second girl I called down from the stage is a Cherry (V) girl. Sigh... But once I call them down, I will buy the girl a drink.
- Camelot is open again. Girls not so hot looking when I went, so it was in and out. Didn't stay for a drink.
- Went to Aura bar, uh, don't remember all that much from that bar
- And then on to Angel Witch. A mellower kind of rock music. One of the girls on stage was making eyes at me, so called her down for a drink. Ended up taking her back. 1500 p. She is tall and skinny (which means no tits). Great attitude, doesn't mind me waking her up any time during the night for extra pokes. Took her out for lunch today. Then she had to go to "hygiene". Half an hour later, bumped into her in the streets again. She says her room has no aircon, "so hot"... So now she is sleeping in my room :-)

This is some of the really BS I dont like at Angeles city, the cherry girl bola2. I know I know I also barfined them sometimes..in my youth LOL, but now, no thanks, what for? Bad thing is, that sometimes the only girl in a bar I am interested is one of those dam cherry girls.

Cherry girl. Last year I was in the bar chatting a mamasan. I was asking about this dancer or that dancer. I recognized one whom my buddy had barfined from a different bar a year prior. What a cutie. When I pointed her out, mama said, "No not her. She's cherry girl. She don't barfine." I played dumb and asked what a cherry girl was. "You know. She a virgin." Ohhhhhhhhhhh.... I see. She's either on her period, or told her current employer that she's a virgin.

As much as I agree with you the cherry girl thing is total lame and bulls**t, I think it somewhat represents bargirl mentally in AC. Often they don't see themselves as professional and many have dream of finding a foreign bf to take them out their misery. And I think this mentality is the base of GFE you don't find in may other destimations and it attracts so many mongers to Philippines for GFE.

It is very natural that a bargirl provides GFE if you treat them well like a girlfriend. But that sometimes leads to a precarious situation where a young girl starts to believe that she will finally be "rescued". Not leaving any illussions with the girls yet getting the service we desire is the sign of a real pro here, I think. ;-)

Now, when I enter a bar, I ask a waitress who the cherry girls are. I want to make sure my little head doesn't get fixated on a wrong target leading to a long night hunting.

A LOL "rescue" update report from harrythehorse (repost)

Things are improving in Fields Ave as far as the local PNP is concerned. They are walking more and now we have a very active PNP bicycle patrol who are quite visible. Now, if we could only get the Manila DOJ, CIDG and NBI under control we would be able to live in peace and attract more tourism. There is only so much money that can be spread around to satisfy the appetites of these people. As I said before, they could not handle a hostage situation but man, they are heavily armed and ready for a shoot out with the ladies on stage when they enter a bar. Then they gather them up in a phony "rescue" excuse and put them in rooms without water, and food for hours. They are treated like animals but hell, they have been "rescued".

Getting injured while walking down Philippine streets is a much underestimated danger while in country. The sidewalks are uneven, have unexpected holes in them, have rusty re-bar protruding like pungee sticks, and are littered with broken glass and other various debris.

I spend as much time looking down as looking ahead while walking down Philippine streets. Hopefully your injuries won't interfere too much with your vacation. Btw, the photos of your Manila t.g.'s were outstanding!

I was walking to the nearby 7Eleven when I tripped on a broken paving slab and fell. Unfortunately for me I fell in such a way that my groin area took the full force against the corner of the kerb. Painful doesn't even come close to describing it.

angeles city – from a place of honky-tonky entertainment district to a wholesome leisure and recreational area is what the city government plans for fields avenue and adjacent environment.

mayor edgardo pamintuan is pushing for the transformation of the entertainment industry as soon as possible obviously to erase the “sin city” perception of the people from outside of angeles city.

“in light of the close scrutiny on the entertainment strip, it becomes more necessary to concretize the transformation of fields avenue into a wholesome district filled with bars and restaurants,” stated in a press release issued by the city information office (cio).

pamintuan toyed with the idea during an emergency meeting with owners of major establishments at the entertainment district shortly after his arrival from an official trip to the united states.

pamintuan said fields avenue being a wholesome entertainment area, would boost the tourism industry of the city. he said this is part of the city government’s plan to support the business sector especially the entertainment industry here.

the entertainment district contributes 40 percent to the city coffers in terms of tax, securing of permits and other fees, it was gathered.

last week alone, three beer joints were padlocked by authorities for violation of the city ordinances.

the raiding team composed of agents from the national bureau of investigation (nbi) and 3rd criminal investigation and detection unit rescued several **** girls employed in three beerhouses mostly catering to foreign guests.

at present, the entertainment district here is home to more than 300 establishments including hotels, restaurants and beer houses, and thousands of employees are directly benefiting in this industry.

meanwhile, pamintuan suggested to organize a multi-sectoral task force which will lead in the campaign against [CodeWord908] and similar offenses.

Sorry to hear that Wadman had a "bad" experience. I sometimes like going to a KTV if girls are into singing and I barfine early in the evening and have time. For me, its a good opportunity to get girls to loosen up and get them into the GFE mode.

Girls wanted to go singing and the waitress I barfined said she knows a place close to Pony Tail. It is on top of JJ or J market close to Pony Tail? They said 300P minimum for one hour KTV and if we order food for 300P or more, second hour is free. I don't think they were rip off and the tables outside on the rooftop was quite interesting to have dinner if you have a girl to put her into the right mood. I will try it next time.

Even if I am paying for the "fucklet's" service, I find it interesting to pamper the girls a little bit (still it doesn't cost that much) and see their reaction.
