Maybe not, but don't less that stress you out. You can find equally good looking girls at BA85 or VM for only about a Real/minute if you climb/walk enough. I found 2 such girls at BA85 and 1 in VM on my trip a couple months ago. Club Flórida is also a good bet because you can find some freaky girls there for cheap. I am in Rio this weekend as well. Similar background to you. I know Rio a bit from previous visits; no Portuguese but I have a little Spanish, and that gets me far enough. Will be in Rio. First time. Don't speak Portuguese. Late 30s but in good shape and look young. Have lots of recommendations for places to visit from previous travelers but looking for a wingman, ideally one with some Portuguese Trying to arrange accomodation with Americoa but I might stay in a hotel as well.

Anyone else gonna be there and in a similar situation?

I have never been to Rio, but I'm going in a couple of weeks, and I'm well excited. Reading up on the scene I keep coming across a disco named HELP. I read that it's one of the easier places to pick up pros and semipros. But now I've read somewhere also that it has closed. Is that correct? and if, where have all these girls gone?

Sangue Bom, do NOT listen to anyone's advice on the price of VS lotion in duty free in Rio! I fucked up by listening to some of the members of this board and it ended up costing me alot of extra dollars!!

The price of lotion in the duty free in Rio is NOT the same price you can purchase it for in a VS store. And they sure as fuck do not have the "buy 5 items for 20 bucks promotion!!" If you intend on bringing VS down, buy it in a VS store back home and carry it on the plane with you!!

It used to be we had a few guys here who liked to embellish and exaggerate but lately this forum is filled with misinformation from guys dying to be recognized as a "Rio Expert." It has gotten to the point where guys who really do have something to offer, don’t post.

When I went to SP last year, I used autoviacao1001. It was during a weekday so there were very few people on the bus. Their seats are large and comfy and they give you a pack of snack. They also had some very cheesy us movie playing during the trip. I would recommend them.

Well, sad to infrom that the cheaper tickets do not include even water anymore. Only the tickets closer to 100R$ include snack (chocolate bar and water). Before all buses had snacks.

Also GOL has some flights very cheap. Latest was fly to SP with normal price and return for 10R$. If you know what to do you'll easily fly from Rio to SP and back for 100 - 150R$.

Anyway I prefer airplane over bus anytime.

Yeah I was there. Probably 30-50 GDPs, but 50-60% were old and tired. 20 % were doable, and 3-4 real cuties. Personally I am not here for "doable" but go for the cuties, so while I did found company nor was there a great selection if out for the jaw-droppers.

Three days ago, I was at DV. The doable selection was very limited, although the f/m ratio was good. Man, the action has deteriorated in Zona Sul.

So today I decided to go to the drug store and buy some viagra. The guy at the counter was first trying to sell me some gingsing stuff, which he says works better than viagra (atleast that's what I think he said as I speak little portuguese). I kindly declinded and so then he went to the back to grab my medication and when he came out he had two boxes of vigamed in his hands. I was dumbfounded at first as I had never heard of the medication but decided to give it a try and bought only one box.

Has anyone on this forum used this medication before? How safe is it is what I really want to know?

Info I've found on google says it a new type of ED drug that works a different pathway than viagra. Some people said it works better than viagra and faster. Supposely it is only sold in brasil. I really want to try it but is a little hesitant.

I started this in another thread I meant to say Rio to Sao Paulo by bus. Prices on flights to sp for the dates I want are kind of high and landing in Rio works anyway cause I could spend a day or 2 in Rio then on to SP. Whats the average cost round trip. I did try the search for it on this site and could not get the info.

There is a big difference between trying to pass through Rio customs or security and trying the same shit in the US.

As I was coming through security in the US this time I set off the alarm. I thought it was a pack of gum in my pocket so I took it out and tried again. Alarm still sounded. I then realized I had a couple of condoms in my pocket. Took them out and passed through with no problems.

Depending on the size of the bottle I would have just put it in my pocket. Glass and plastic won't set off a metal detector. I always bring the nail polish that my mom likes back from Rio and when I go through security there I carry 5 bottles in each of my front pants pockets (sweat pants). My ex-girlfriend did the same when she brought the polish up for my mom. No problems.

I regularly break all kinds of rules when entering or leaving Rio. However, I would not try to pull the same crap on US customs or immigration. The US has 100x better security than Rio and a whole lot less sense of humour if they catch you.

You could play ignorance and just take 2 bags with maybe 150ml of liquids and you will probably get through, if they pick it up it is no big deal. They will just make you dump something. I regularly have more than the 100ml limit, sometimes 200ml, normally it is not a big deal - however I don't conceal it, I just put it all on the tray and if they have a problem they can say something.

If you try and deliberatly conceal crap in your pants and they pick it up you will be in all kinds of crap, possibly face a substantial delay and possible terror charges. Chances of being caught are high as well. Not worth it to try and save a lousy $50.

A friend of mine asked me to buy her Victoria Secret perfume. I have a lot going on right now and I'm already packed for my upcoming trip. So I shot out to VS store and bought a 2 oz perfume for her and then when I get home I look at my suitcase and holly molly I forgot I'm going carry on and my 1 quart see thru plastic baggy 3-1-1 is fully packed already. Unless I move something out of the plastic bag I will have no room for it and if I just stick it in the suit case I risk losing it and $50 out the window.
