Posts: 75My 'scam detector' says she's legit. She lives in Pokuase, is pretty, fresh looking, very modestly dressed, 25 y.o.
Anyway, will see her first and have a night in Accra before heading to the festival around Keta. I certainly hope she joins me, otherwise my best chance of getting laid after the festival will be in Tafi Atome monkey sanctuary
A couple of general questions: how much can one get from an ATM (Visa) in a single withdrawal? I'm thinking about going up North (wanna pet the crocs in Paga) but am not sure about the climate. Well hot of course but how about the very dusty winds from Sahara in late November?

If she's a hairdresser, that means she's only making GHC 40 per month max and after transport she'd only have GHC 25 left at the most so 100 is like 4 months of net income.
Of course if she's a pro, 100 won't be enough - all depends on what she really does for a living.

Back to Ghana for a short visit. Staying at Lake Bosumtwi Hotel in Nyaniba Estates. Price GHC45 for a room with A/C, fan, double bed, free wireless, breakfast, friendly staff and GHC 2.50 for a Club beer and definitely GF. Easy to get to and close to Vanity Pub.
Nyaniba is opposite Labone Junction after Danquah circle in Osu going towards the beach on Ring Road Central.

So after reading a bunch of reports and advices, I thought I should give it a go.
While waiting for food at the Pizza Inn, I met a girl. She stood about 10 feet away, looked at me and smiled. I smile back, take my receipt and go out for a cigarette looking at her. She takes a Coke and still smiling comes through the sliding door, approaches me and says hi. I greet and she asks if it is OK to sit with me. I say Go for it. After a minute of small talk she asks:
"So how is your wife and daughter?"
I stay cool and say they are doing great and so am I. She sees me everyday when I drive them in the mornings, she says. Startled I receive my pizza and say goodbye politely and curse the fuck out of my luck.
Nevertheless, bombshell with a great smile.
Oh boy, some are born mongerers, others like me will probably die trying

I'll hit Accra next month on a Monday afternoon. My research here says go to Waikiki in the evening for company so that's what I'll do and most certainly also get laid.
Wednesday morning I intend to head East and attend a festival and will be away from 'civilization' for around 10 days. Usually I'd be against arranging anything with girls beforehand in Ghana but one day seems pretty short time for arrangements which is why I have used ghanaweb.com to get in touch with a girl who wants to join me.
I'll meet her Tuesday and if we click she will go with me. I told her that it's only for a few days, maybe a good week. She's looking for an obroni husband but I have made very clear that it won't be me. Alternatively, she wants to learn about 'the ways of white men' (her words) which might help her later in her search and I'll gladly lend her a hand (and whatever!) for educational purposes ;-)
We will definately split, either after 5 days or after 8-9 days and maybe meet again before I go home. She's a hairdresser and can't be making much money and I don't think she expects much if anything except to get away on a short vacation. My ramblings here lead to "What should I pay her?"

Eyed up several times in a club on different nights but always busy or otherwise occupied. Finally exchanged phone numbers. Thirty minutes after a phone call was in her place. Everything fits.
