Reading Jack's posting's along with a few others, made me stop a minute and think how different the HK scene is from just a couple of years ago, or at least my perception.
Fenwick, gone, but Escape is getting close to the "old days", except after about midnight they turn the lights off and it is almost impossible to see what you are really talking to, and even I find it rude to ask her to "come to the light", to check out the goods. Laguna has changed a lot, it seems that there are a lot fewer Phils' these days and lot more Viet's in every bar.....maybe it is just me.
The starting price has gone from 1000 to 12-1500, although the actual amount paid hasn't inflated that far.
I'm much more likely to try Kowloon, now, partly in hopes of finding a stunning Mongolian girl. I've struck out on that quest with the exception of a one time meeting, but keep going back to Hari's with hope.
