CHEAP OPTION: stay in a moderate hotel, use Streetwalkers and freelancers (500 1, 000 ST) or Chinatown ( 300 ST)

MODERATE OPTION: Stay in Moderate Hotel, use BG7, Small Beer Bars (1, 000 ST)

REGULAR OPTION: Stay in a 2, 500 thb hotel, use Nana or Cowboy or Any Oily or soapy (min 1, 500 ST + barfine or massage fee)

EXPENSIVE OPTION: Stay in a 4 star, use Nana or Cowboy, buy drinks, go to model class soapies.

VERY EXPENSIVE OPTION: Go to a G club, and spend 10, 000 thb, go home alone.

Barfine: Generally 600. Sometimes 500. Sahara is 700. Never heard of anyone paying 900 in BKK.

ST: The girl will say 2000. Then you say 1500. Then she says OK. If she doesn't like you she will demand the 2000. I have gotten 1000 before (her offer, not mine) , but it was in a less popular bar. You shouldn't expect to get 1000 ST.

LT: The girl will say 3000-4000. You should bargain to 2500-3000. Many girls won't want LT, especially if it's early. Many will try to leave after 3-4 hours and still expect a LT fee, which you should refuse and give her ST. Some, if they like you and / or are tired, will agree to a ST fee and then stay LT by their choice, in which case you should add a generous tip to a ST fee.

Freelancers: 1000 ST. 2000 LT. A bit higher if they're one of the better looking girls.

Streetwalkers/Carpark: They should pay you.

Just to clarify, if you take a girl early (when exactly is that?) you pay 900? That is a little expensive if you ask me. Especially since I AM early and try to make it between 8 and 9 so that I can see the hotties even if I like to spend a while looking and choosing before deciding.

Since Thais (and certain foreigners who patronize the Thai-oriented establishments) are paying only 1500-1600 baht ST or 2000-2100 baht LT for (on average) much more attractive girls picked-up in the Thai go-go bars located in Bangkok (and much less for the local streetwalkers, of course), do you consider them as "cheapos"? That's already very good money for the locals in Thailand (the national average MONTHLY wage is below 9000 baht).

BKK is no longer cheap, in fact its become the most expensive of all South East Asian countries and one of the most expensive Asian countries.

When you consider short time in Hong Kong (via 141) or Singapore with the many China girls is cheaper than you get in BKK for similar quality you know Thailand has become expensive.

Cambodia and Burma is 600 Baht long time. Indonesia is 700 baht short time.

Compare that to Thaland where short time is, in general. 1500Baht to 2000Baht.

A minimal standard night out with food, drinks, barfine and gogo girl short time (1 shot) is 100US$ gone, then add your hotel on top and other activities / food for the actual spend per day and its approaching 200US$ to 250US$ or more per day for just normal living and 1 short time.

Drinks also keep going up and are a direct influence on your overall spending. Why is a beer twice the price in BKK as in Manila? Its pure greed of the bar owners as less spend money so they put the price up for those that are spending money to try to compensate and so get even less real spending customers and around and around it goes.

More and more girls are complaining less and less farang spending money and more and more are "cheap charlie" but the girls cannot appreciate that with the Thai baht appreciating near 50% in a few years Thailand no longer is cheap at all, and indeed, its becoming very expensive.

If you are on a tight budget, avoid Thailand all together, head for Cambodia or the Philippines. Simple as that.

Hi, I'm planning a trip to Thailand sometime soon, have been RTFF, gone back over 20 pages. I have a few newbie questions some respectful memebrs could clarify:

I am far from being among the most experienced and respected members here but I think I should be able to answer your questions. I have been to Bangkok 4 times and have a little clue.

1) How it works in Thailand seems to be get a GF hotel. (still need to read this section, advice welcome). Go to Soi Cowboy or Nana's and find a girl. The question is to do with prices because reports seem to vary a lot:

I beg my pardon from those who will disagree but it much depends on whose Report you're reading. There are two main kinds of mongers: those who count their money while looking for girls and those who aren't. I'm one who isn't (even though I am very far from being rich or even prosperous person even if I look and act like one while in Thailand). That much depends on your attitude and world-view. It depends on whether you want to get something here and now at any cost without worrying about every dollar you spend or whether you can go for a cheaper alternative and feel just as good while always staying within budget. It is up to you and not anyone else. So there is no "right" answer.

ST doesn't mean ANY amount of hours or times to cum (well, it means at least one cum I guess). It may be 15 minutes or it may be 3 hours. Depends on a girl and yourself. Although usually it would be something between 1 and 2 hours. Very much depends on the girl and if she likes you. Of course if she likes you she will stay longer. You, however, DO NOT have a right to keep her longer than she is willing to stay after you cum (unless agreed before. But I have never heard anyone doing that). It is a discreet situation based on common sense the basic of which is you take the girl to your hotel, you both take a shower, then some foreplay, kissing etc, fuck, cum, shower again and she goes. E. One of the four I mentioned). So 1000-1500 in an ordinary bar and 2000 in one of the "elite" ones (I guess you may negotiate it 1500 though. But I never done that).

Yes, from a "cheap" bar. But even cheaper ones I think ask 2000 in Bangkok (perhaps cheaper in Pattaya or Phuket) From the expensive one it's a 4000 (that's what they usually ask anyway, and if they're really hot they won't go down). Many would agree to 3000 though. Then again, many won't go for LT at all, especially if it happens early (I. E. Before midnight or so) or if they don't like you. Sometime they agree to go LT after having ST. They change mind often those girls. And remember, NEVER pay BEFORE. Just after I. E. When she's leaving your room.

So all in all: cheap bar 1500LT while expensive "elite" bars 3000-4000LT.

2) Does it cost anthing to enter the bars? Ie you can bar hop for free? Bar fine I gather is about 5-600B.

No, it's all free to enter. Technically you don't even have to buy anything if want to just quickly have a look around. But being a respectful person I guess it's a good idea to order some drink straight away unless you really intend to leave immediately. Barfines are 500-600 and that is when you take the girl out. You should expect to buy a drink for the girl while she's sitting with you. They also get some commission from the drinks you buy them so they may get pushy. It is important to stay polite and discreet while not to waste too much money on buying them drinks.

3) I heard reports about LB and ex-guys. Presumely if you pick someone from the gogo bars your safe.

I always ask the mamasan. Although bars like Rainbow4 and Baccara, as far as I am aware don't have LBs anyway so if you go to those establishments you are pretty much safe.

In all, it costs 1500 including bar fine for 3 hours to bring your girl back to your hotel?

If you go to Rainbow4 and other bars I mentioned. Most definitely not. It will take as much as 3300 or so (including 2000 for the girl. 600 barfine, some 500-600 for drinks and a taxi ride). But for this money you're looking at the top bars and top girls. This is what I do anyway.

In cheaper places you possibly can make it with 1500 all inclusive but I would say 2000 to is more realistic.

The problem which we must not forget are drinks. They cost something like 200-300 baht each and going there you "immediately" buy two drinks which means 400-600 baht. Then if you buy another one or two you may end up spending a 1000 on drinks alone so it's good to keep this in mind and perhaps plan things in a way to minimize drinking.

Also my suggestions are based on my perception. Like I said, once I'm after girls I don't care much about money, I always want to get what I want here and now without any compromises, I like "hot" girls I. E. Young, skinny, well shaped body (I. E. Won't go for anything who is described as "not skinny, just normal" or "not one of those anorexic girls"). So I would guess I have a high standard based on my perception of beauty. If you are the same then I hope my advice may be of use. If not and you're pragmatic and open for experiments regarding looks, body shapes and sizes then just ignore my post.
