I've had mine for almost 2 months now. Well worth it in my opinion. I don't go up to bone chicks so I can't tell you about the hotel time but. You get a free drink every time ($4 savings) , half off your first lap dance ($10 savings) , and they give you 5 bucks to take a taxi back to the border. So everytime I go if I get a lapdance, its saving me $19 bucks. Well worth it! The VIP rooms are usually 10 drinks for the girl to use them but with the VIP card I have used them for 6 drinks and 7 drinks two different times so thats a savings right there. The only ***** about it is that the $25 drink coupon they give you, has to be used on that day you purchase your VIP card and it has to be used all at once. So you basically have to buy a bucket full of beers or order up 6 shots all at once. I don't drink while I'm down there so I got a bucket full of waters. The maseros and some chicas laughed but fuck it, didn't bother me one bit. So it will pretty much pay for itself after 2 or 3 visits for the most part.

I'm on vacation this week in SD, and I have been to HK nearly every day. I've been to a few other bars, but for my taste, I just prefer HK. The other places just don't have the right vibe for me, or nearly enough naked girls dancing.

I was even at HK on Tuesday afternoon when they had their Dia de las Madres celebration. They had a raffle giveaway for all the girls (most are moms) , with prizes like a microwave oven or a DVD player. And then the managers sang some popular mother's day songs on the karaoke, and all the girls swooned and clapped. And then they had some male strippers and the girls went nuts tipping them and giggling when their friends were pulled up on stage and groped by the 220lb mass of manly muscles. It was quite amusing really. I found myself laughing, too, when someone would shove their friend up onto the stage to get groped and dry-humped.

I spent most of my time this week with my new ATF, Vanessa (5'4".120lbs. 28yrs, long dark wavy hair. 34B). My Spanish is pretty good, so I had a lot of fun chatting with her, flirting with her, groping her, etc, though I don't know what she's like for guys who don't have Spanish. To make things worse, when I arrived this week, I bought the VIP card for 50 so that I could take advantage of the various benefits. I've enjoyed the use of the VIP room, and the first drink free, and the first private dance at half off, and the free ride to border. But whenever I pull out my card, it confuses the staff, then they have to go make a photocopy of the card, and it's a bother. The nicest benefit is the extra time when going arriba. Pay for 30 minutes, get an additional 15 free. Pay for 60min, get 30min free.

But the attitudes of the meseros just really get on my last nerve, and I think I've been scowling at them when they interrupt me. Last night when I decided to buy a private from Vanessa before taking her upstairs, the mesero told her I was cheap, and the knock came after about 2 minutes, before the song was over.

Vanessa explained to me on Saturday that the meseros work 12 to 14 hours a day and they only earn tips, plus all that extra crap they are trying to sell is because of a quota. Each day, they have to sell a photo, an appetizer, and a private dance, or they have to pay the full management the full price of the items they didn't sell. And I had some sympathy for them when I first got there, but now I'm just done with them.

I think there are 2 strategies for dealing with meseros. Do what I've been doing and put up with the BS is one. But I think I may try a different strategy today. I think I may find 1 singular mesero after I arrive. One that doesn't look like a pain in the ass. I'll give him 10bucks immediately and tell him that he is now my mesero and that I will not do business with anyone else. He can check on me, but not constantly, and if I want something I will ask for it. And when I am done I will find him and give him another 10. That may be money well spent.

Maybe a mesero can be an ally instead of an enemy. We'll see.

Dude I hear ya on the maseros. They are fucking annoying! I only deal with about 5 of them there and they have always been awesome and never caused me any problems. My number 1 masero is David. Shorter guy with glasses. Super good dude and by far my favorite. Another good guy is Xavier. Younger dude, speaks English really well. I try to use those 2 exclusively. This is during the day shift Thur or Fri they are usually there. If you are there on Thur or Fri ask for David or Xavier and they will treat you right.

Find a favorita, develop a "relationship" and take her out a few times. Most chicas are happy to teach you some Spanish. It's no more costly than enrolling in a class, and it's a lot more fun.
