I've read several reports on this forum from guys lamenting the fact that if you don't have a car, you can't 'engage' the majority of the street girls, and if you don't speak Italian, you can't call the classifieds girls. The one noted exception was reportedly near the Cavour metro station (Via Urbana and Via del Capocci).

Over the past two weeks I've visited Via Urbana and Via del Capocci twice (once on a Sunday afternoon and one on a Monday early evening). On both occasions, I did see 2-3 girls that I was certain were working. The problem was that they were old, haggared, and in one case, about 350 pounds. Not attractive at all. Am I just going at the wrong time, or is this just Uglyville? I did see a couple of other more attractive girls talking on cell phones etc, but when I walked by several times, I didn't get any response or engagement from them, so I'm pretty sure they were not part of the scene. There are restaurants, shops, and tourists on these streets, so don't jump at everything you see.

The last time I left discouraged and decided to check the scene near EUR Palasport metro station. On Via Umberto Tupini there are several girls working starting around 9pm. I was there around 4 months ago and approached a girl and asked her if she had an apartment. She said yes, and led me to some bushes. This was very uncomfortable and we were actually spotted by a guy walking by, who yelled at us. Damage was only 30E for everything, so no big loss when I left before the job was done.

So last night I found three girls talking together. They said 50E for one or 80E for all three. One was older (perhaps 35, but quite attractive including a nice face) , the other two were around 20. The problem with the younger ones was that they had no front teeth, probably due to drug use. One had a very hot little body. They didn't speak much English, but I asked if they had an apartment. They said yes. I opted for all three out of sheer curiosity (despite the teeth!). They took me to a cafe, where they ordered some food and asked me to pay. I didn't like where this was going, but since it was only 6E, I said what the hell. Then they sat on the street and ate and smoked. I asked again about the apartment, and after some difficulty, determined that they had no apartment. I asked the older one only to accompany me to my room, by metro, two stops away. She agreed, but asked for 100E. She settled for 80E. It took us about 30 mins to get to my place, and I was worried things would be very rushed, but she stayed for about an hour. She was pretty engaging and in to everything. Probably pretty used to the quick and confined car scene, she seemed to get pretty excited in a more 'interactive' environment. She kissed as well, which was surprising, but she seemed to take a liking to me, so YMMV.

Drawbacks were that her clothes were 'boarderline' slutty, so I'm sure some of the locals knew what I was up to as I walked her to my room from the metro. She had a very nice body, but she had some minor armpit hair which I noticed. She also had quite a large 'bump' on her lower back. Yikes! I just pretended it wasn't there!

Overall, not a bad experience. But I think next time I will be braver and try and call one of the girls from the classifieds and see if I can book in English. If anyone has a recommendation of a hot young girl who speaks English, let me know!

Unfortunately no. . There's some Lap Dance clubs (about 10) where you can easily get the phone number of the dancers after a private session of about 10/20 mins, but since they don't leave the place until 5. 00am and they usually are pretty tired, you should wait the next late morning for "the action".

If you're looking for a quick thing you should browse the ads on some websites, but as always you can't be sure you'll find the same girl seen on the picture. Maybe the best option is to meet an agency girl in an hotel, but they are pretty expensive: 200-300 Euros.

I was in Rome for a short business trip and not having the time or patience to comb through Il Messagero or other rags and metroing out to the suburbs I stopped by a Thai massage place up on Via Lazio (near Borgese Park).50 euro entry despite the advertising of 60. Decent place and good choice of massages and standard R&T ending with a 30E tip (which may be too much, I don't know I just used AMP prices at home and winged it). While not quite as awesome as the Land of Smiles itself it is a great way to relieve some stress and relieve some pressure.

BTW, they will give you this strange paper g-string thing which is rather small and frankly I refused to wear which was not a problem so I had the girl giggling at my wang waving in the air the whole time which was kind of fun and helped break the ice.
