Free Wifi in the rooms?
Does any hotel near sukhumvit offer this? I read Nana & Ibis have it free in the lobby, has anyone used it? Does it work okay? I need it for work.
Thanks

This is really simply but are they no hotels in Sukhumvit that offer free in room wifi? Seriously, I can't find this info anywhere. I know the Ibis has it in the hotel lobby, anyone tried that one & does it work okay?
This is important to me for work.

Posts: 6BKK Hotel GF, Mirrors, tub?
I'd like to be close to the action, plan to arrive early first week of July and stay for a few days before heading off to Pattaya. Would like a room with mirrors viewable from bed, guest friendly, and preferably a bath tub or jacuzzi, though a shower would also be ok. I have seen the Star Inn mentioned here. Any comments on that or other suggestions would be appreciated. Up to about 1, 500 baht would be ok.

How far am I from the action in terms of time? Is it easy to get a cab? I will be with business partners so I don't want them to know what I am up to at least not right away LOL, are there bars, massage parlous near or is it more of a secluded setting? Also is the hotel nice?

I stayed at the Majestic Grande a few years ago a year or so after they first opened. Excellent hotel, great service, and girl-friendly. Anyone stay there recently? Is it still any good? Is Dynasty Grande better? Thank you!

There are better Hotels but AP seems good value for money. Staff are okay Seem to be lots of restaurant choices in the vicinity. I greatly preferred it over Citadines and my Thai girl did too. I would have to look at old reports about the Citadines 23 to remember the reasons. GM is in another class altogether but will cost a lot more, and room GM doesn't include everything automatically. Just my opinions.
Barko who often goes to Grand Millenium agreed that AP was a good value for money alternative.

The Cheapest category rooms have shower over the bath, which is a common problem at many Hotels. Some rooms may have poor bathroom floor drainage if splash lots of water which runs out onto the floor. Leave the bath mat outside the bathroom just in case. Many rooms have floor drainage that is okay I only had problems with a lot of water when had 3 girls all showering with me (actually couldn't fit all 4 of us at the same time).
Can get a upgrade to room with shower stall, but will cost a bit more, if important to you. Not many cheaper Hotels have bath and a separate shower stall, except in their higher class rooms. Some exceptions, e. G. Dynasty Grande I recall has fabulous bathrooms. For a nearby Hotel, Grand Millenium is good when get a good price at Wotif, and superb bathrooms.
