At Capitol Pub you may be able to bargain it down to 30k, but probably more like 50-80. According to the newspaper today, you can get it for 10k per hour in the slums of Bwaise, however I can't imagine you wanting to try that out. If you put in a bit of effort, or you know someone who will connect you, there are lots of students willing to come home to you for 70k-100k all night, including the really hot ones. In Rock Garden you may pay around 50-100, though 100 is more common than 50. The chicks from Burundi and Rwanda may ask for 80-200 and there are also a few Ugandans who won't be keen to go for less than 150. At Serena Hotel you may pay double the price for the exact same girls. Cayenne is now flooded with hookers on Friday and Saturday, I'd say around 100-150k for the hottest ones. For 200k you are either poor at negotiating, or you should get a contestant in Miss Uganda competitions.
Hence, I'd say around 100k is average.
Hope it helps.

I haven't been in Uganda since 2005 and I have good memories from my female encounters back then. I always just gave the girls 50k shs the next morning and all of them seemed happy with the gift offered. However now I'm going back for a short trip 6 years later and I would presume with the inflation and the depreciation of the Ugandan shilling that this remuneration will not be sufficient. I know this is a question without a straight answer since it will depend on a lot of factors, but can anyone give an indication of what would be fair to pay for a muzungu nowadays?

I would suggest that even some of the most intolerable asses among us occasionally contribute valuable info. I have encountered some of UKTraveler's posts which seem useful and well intentioned.
We are not primarily here to be friends with each other. We are here to learn from each other. Two very different, and only occasionally coincident, purposes.
Just my two cents.

Great, let's! Please tell us your perspective on mongering in Uganda from Rwanda professor. Oh, and since you brought him up, let's also hear from your beloved Satyr9 on the same topic. Oops, I forgot, he has no experience in Uganda either.
Game over.[/QUOTE]All 4 of the women were Ugandans so that IS Ugandan experience, where the women are from is what counts and not the fact that they traveled to Rwanda. This forum is about the women. So, UK Traveler is wrong again by claiming I have no Ugandan experience. UK Traveler also has a reputation for this sort of 'argumentative' and 'threatening' behaviour towards other members as shown by previous posts and being deleted from the Forum.

LOL. Ugandakid, they do know what they are. And yes Geo, you may bring them in, uktraveler is right about the pics, magazines dvds etc being prohibited and quantities involved as regards the 'toys'. Cock ring? What on earth is that! He he he. Uktraveler, yes, they knw that too. Remember which dudes are 'well endowed" and thus require them at times. LOL.

I feel sorry for you having to make false interpretations of other people's comments on the forum rather than sticking to adding information to the forum. I hold a PhD from an accredited USA university so I'm quite capable of abstract thinking. You got a PhD? You haven't taught statistics since you didn't answer last time. And your use of the fallacy of composition theory is wrong and misplaced once again. Inferential statistics makes inferences to entire populations from samples all the time (I. E what the fallacy states). But this is done based on probability distributions and levels of confidence, something you clearly don't know which is fine. I don't know everything just like you but, unlike you, I don't make false statements about others especially when I don't have an understanding of the subject matter. So again, my sample of 4 led to a 'recommendation' for using AfroIntro and NOT your incorrect statement that it was meant as a generalization to ALL Ugandan women on AfroIntro. Oh, and by the way, it is possible, with levels of confidence, using the permutation test which does not require large samples as you, the 'expert' claim to think is required, to see if 4 out of the total Ugandan girls could be 'statistically significant' on scoring. Finally, you say I have no experience in Uganda. Wrong again: 1 of the 4 girls I met in Uganda. You should get your facts before you try, unsuccessfully, to be a smart ass. Again, Satyr9 is commenting about your false remarks and not his experience.
