I will come to UB early Feb. And plan to stay in Ramada hotel. As I know Ramada hotel is the latest hotel with good service in UB.

Could any brother provide information on food service, room size etc. Of Ramada hotel?

Does Ramada hotel have night club inside it? Is it easy to find WG or normal girl in Ramada hotel?

Had a short lay over in UB recently. God, it is wintery and very cold here.

1) UB Massage. Went to both locations (old UB massage on Seoul Street, now called New UB Massage as well as the one in the basement of Springs Hotel). For "New UB Massage", first of all, it is very hard to find, especially in the cold and in the dark. When walking west on Seoul, look for a building that said "Hotel" vertically. There is a small-ish staircase there leading to the basement. Here, the Japanese massage (1 hour) is 25K, the scrub (30 minutes) is 13K. They have an optional HJ package that you can do after your massage for 10K extra (I. E. You can just get massage). For Spring, it was 35K all inclusive (was asked, I said yes, no extra charge)

2) Casablanca. Very few talent here, I'd say about 4-5 on a weeknight (even at 9-11 PM). To be honest, the waitresses looks way better. Only if you can take out. I don't think you can, as they were very much to the point when serving, didn't even chat up the customer (me)

3) Marco Polo. Had dinner there at 8-9 PM before heading up (same building). It was 12K entrance fee, had a couple of beers (4-6K each, depends on brand). Once again, I guess it's because of winter and the weekdays, there were like 5-6 guys and 10+ girls. The girls were average, many try to get you private dances and then asking for tips (they were asking 5K per song). If they dance for you without being asked (I. E. Could be because it was empty and there is nothing else better to do) , you don't have to tip (I didn't). I ended up getting the "table service" which was on the menu (for 1 hour) , this consisted of a girl (your choice) sitting with you and chatting. She ordered a water and a pack of cigarette and charged it to my bill (naturally). This added an extra 6K to me bill. Whatever. One thing that was annoying was that my girl, after 20 minutes of sitting and chatting, said that she needed to go dance. So she left me, went to change, and then danced for like 15 minutes before coming back. So I was just sitting there myself.

4) SW at the Square. OMG. I actually saw 10-15 SWs by the Lenin Square in front of the UB hotel. Did not inquire on pricing as it was cold, they were all bundled up, so you cannot see anything (one girl out of 10-15 was definitely attractive). The problem is that all the pimps are there too, making it quite the discomforting negotiation process.

I have been there 4 times for work in the past 3 years. Twice stayed at Bayongol and last 2 times stayed at UB Hotel next to Lenin Park. Both have positives and negatives.

Bayongol was OK and I had been told that the security was difficult with girls who were not from Casablanca.

I tipped the doorman a modest amount one night when I took a Casablanca girl to my room and after that there was never any question, even when I brought in girls from elsewhere. I gave him some chocolate a few times too for no reason at all so that probably helped.

UB hotel was better than Bayongol in terms of comfort, breakfast etc but will add on the cost of an extra guest if you come back after midnight with a girl.

I solved it after meeting a couple of girls at Strings on separate occasions and had them visit me during the next day or after school / work and they came to my room before around 8 or 9 pm (or afternoons during weekends)

According to a little card I have there are 4 UB massage / spa places in UB.

1. Near the 'International Ticket Window of Mongolian Railway'. It's just north-west of the Train Station. Reception: 55252800.

2. Basement of the Springs Hotel. Reception: 88868484.

3. North of the White House Hotel. It's near Strings. Reception: 88008484.

4. North-west of the Jobi 72 Center. It's near the Kempinski Hotel. Reception: 88008484.

The prices vary from place to place.

Springs Hotel mentioned below is a GREAT place, very reasonable prices for the quality and near everything. Decent breakfast and, unless they have moved, a branch of UB Massage right downstairs. The Korean resto on the 2nd floor is very popular too.

Corporate Hotel is as stated, pricey. It's next door to the Bayongol where you can generally find a "friend" at the Casablanca bar.

Springs is an easy walk to the Casablanca too.

Sorry, but I've RTFF and there isn't much out there that isn't related to all things mongering. Mongering isn't the priority but if it's available, even better!

Corporate Hotel is in a very good location just a block from the Irish Pub and the UB Brew Pub, very close to Sukhbaatar Square. It's a bit pricey ($110-$150 as I recall) but much better than the pre-Soviet Bayangol or UB Hotels. Oh, there's also the Springs Hotel (smaller, boutique-type) , next door to River Sounds, a popular night club.

Farther out are the Chinghiss Hotel and the Kempinski (maybe a mile or so from the center) , and even further is Sunjiin Grand hotel, which is very sumptuous but definitely too far out unless you have business on the west side of town.

Keep in mind that cabs can be dangerous (much safer actually to just flag down a random car, though this is not for beginners either) , so you probably want to be close to the center.

Thanks to the reports on the UB Massage scene, I've managed to squeeze four visits so far into a crowded trip. Two to the old place on Seoul Street, which seems much the same as ever, and two to the Springs Hotel location. I have no complaints with either place but the Springs masseuse was a notch above my friend (we became friends) at Seoul Street.
