Gentlemen!

Planning my upcoming trip to Rio, I've decided to use Trip Advisor to find a hotel on Copacabana. My goal was to combine proximity to the beach with proximity to termas where stunners can be had. To my astonishment, I found the following prices for hotels that I liked:

- Porto Bay Rio Internacional Hotel US$400 / night.

- Copacabana Palace by Orient-Express $1000 / night.

Even these two hotels had some mixed reviews. So I wonder how bad the other cheaper hotels are.

Am I missing something here, or hotel rates in Rio are ridiculously high? These prices just don't make any sense!

Any advice of quite, clean, reasonably priced hotels on copacabana? Thanks in advance. Aibolit

Ah, so maybe it's the same place as the smoking lounge. I wouldn't be able to stand all of the cigarette smoke, so I think that's a no go for me.

Why do the 4X4 girls take you to the room first and then leave to go get their bags and change clothes? Why don't they go to the room with their things and ready to start the session like Monte Carlos girls?
