Tropicoco to Central Havana and back. Free hotel bus shuttle twice a day or 3 CUC tourist bus. Central Havana to Vedado and back- 40 centavos CUP local bus or 3 to 5 CUC taxi, or you can take a walk from time to time or learn to use taxi for Cubans if you stay longer. Taxi to Tropicoco 12 CUC to Central Havana (Parque Central). But you will not need to use it if you follow the path of hotel during days and casa at night.

I'm looking for an area of Cuba where I can stay in an All-inclusive on the beach and also monger. I would like to get a casa as well. Varadero is out as I can't get a casa there. What other areas can I explore? Beach is a must. I love Havana but I'm not a fan of the lava rock beach. Even if I could get an all inclusive at a nice beach outside of Havana and get a casa in vedado that would be good. Does anybody know of any resorts / beaches like that?

Hotel Tropicoco + casa in Vedado. Days at the beach (breakfast to dinner) and nights in Havana (you come back to your hotel in the morning). Price wise it might work for a week. For longer stays I don't know yet how to book it to make it $ sense.

You can go to Atlantico resort east of Havana but food is SH*T and it is only 2*

Or go to Holguin resort (Playa Costa Verde) and then cab it to Holguin city which 35 mins away.

Non Pros are always the best way to go. Just returned from Havana last week after 12 day vacation.

It was a good time to be in Havana because there were so few tourists but the place was dead.

The new trend in Havana now is that many girls are spiking drinks with sedatives then robbing the tourist.

Keep your eyes open. Enjoy.
