I will NEVER diss the king because he makes this whole thread possible. So he is really cool in my book. I'm always proud to stand to honor him before a movie.
But I'm about to diss Air Asia. Before, I swore by Air Asia. But now I am fed up. Their website is shit. I tried to sign up for frequent flyer but it would/will not process it. But the main thing is that I have been trying everyday for the last 3 days to buy tickets for me, my mom, and my aunt to go to Chiang Mai. Roundtrip tickets for 3 people cost 10,578 baht. But every time I try to purchase the tickets it says my Visa credit card is declined. This is the same card I have saved in my profile on their website. I have thousands of dollars available on my card. I called the bank that issued it and they said there is not even a record of a charge attempt. I have not been able to get through to Air Asia at the Thailand, England, Malaysia, or Australia numbers. I was finally able to get through on the Indonesia number and they were no help at all. After talking to the guy for 20 minutes and trying to put the card through myself in different currencies (BTW the tickets are $20 more if USD is selected) on his supervisor's advice, nothing: declined, declined, declined. Although it gave me a reservation number that would be good for 4 hours he said he can not take payment over the phone because it is a promo fare. It has to be done on the website. Ain't that a b*t&h?
I was so frustrated that I just hung up the skype. I did a search on google for flights and it gave me Nok Air as one carrier. So I went to their website and was able to purchase 3 tickets at the same time as the Air Asia flight in less than 5 minutes for 7,740 baht, that is $90 less than Air Asia. Let's see how it goes with this carrier.
*Come to think of it when my cousin's girlfriend's brother in Malaysia tried to put my cousin's KUL BKK ticket on his Visa, the Air Asia site did the same thing. And that was in June. I ended up having to put my cousin's ticket on my MasterCard.

in reality, thailand is one of the more relaxed places on the planet to travel around and hang out in. just don't get drunk while out "hobbying," and then act like the village idiot.
in regard to your story about a few "yellow shirts" whining in front of the us embassy, so what? that's their right in a democratic country, even a "thai style" one.
when push really comes to shove in thailand, though, as it did in may 2010, you are best to seek cover (and a couple of bullet proof vests). better yet, just fly home!

best thing thailand could do is round up all these scumbag yellow shirts and nuke the lot of them.
a few weeks ago these same people were demanding the world felt sorry for them and their wet feet in the floods. now the fcukers tell the world to get lost as they are not thai.
scum scum scum is all the yellow shirts are, they proved that when the shut the airport and stuck the middle finger up at foreigners, and they continue to do so, unless of course they want something.
do not discuss the royal family, yes, thats correct.
best thing for foreigners to do is if anyones asks about the royal family is just say "sorry, i am not thai, i do not discuss anything about them". no need to say anything else, no need to express any feeling, just say you cannot say anything.

Posts: 425Americans coming to Thailand-you need to read this!
right now there are hundreds of thais protesting in front of the usa embassy in bangkok (see photos). they are holding signs showing the us ambassador decapitated, chanting "usa go home" and more. and we all know how thais protest-they get violent in a fast and furious way. essentially thais are angry that the usa along with the un and 40 some other countries have condemned the arrest of persons for expressing free speech. this mainly regards the thai king. you cannot so much as say you don't like his shoes or you will be arrested or worse. in the last two weeks two things have happened. they convicted an american named joe gordon of what is called lese majeste (speaking badly about the king). joe gordon is a american citizen (thai american) from colorado who posted excerpts on his website in the usa about the thai royalty. that book is banned in thailand. when he came to thailand to see his family he was arrested and detained.
a week later they sentenced a 60 year old thai man they call "uncle sms" to 20 years in prison because they said he sent negative sms's about the king to the government. too bad this old man was not allowed to even see the evidence against him and it is universally known among his family and neighbors this man can hardly see and has never even sent an sms before.
guys remember one thing-this is a 3rd world country with a semi-authoritarian government. the internet is heavily monitored, freedom of speech is suppressed and people can be jailed without even the evidence being shown to you. do not get in trouble here. that can be hard to do when you are mongering as the nature of mongering can lead to trouble. just come to thailand, have fun and leave. don't discuss or do anything else other than that (not just about the king but anything that is outside the realm of mongering). believe me you will be better off if you heed this advice.

My favourite bar girl has turned into a super horny, wild and fantastic fuck, but she wasn't more than good ordinary (OK still above average) on the first session, despite an incredibly hot body (the main reason she was chosen). Once the chemistry gets going and your personality and skills actually start appealing to the girl, then she can wish to absolutely devour you sexually, if she is a horny type, and that is a bit different to an ordinary fuck.
It seems to be worthwhile to collect a selection of hot bodied reliably great fucks. Once you have collected a few, it does not need to be boring. I still take a new girl occasionally, but don't see the use in changing continuously. I don't have the psychological need to try every pussy. The idea that the next girl will be always better than the last one is a strange illusion.
I tried a new Soapy girl the other day. High priced and very sweet looking. A big disappointment and waste of time and money. Later took my favourite bar-girl and another from same bar (that also was not new to me) together. Had an incredible time, allowing me to forget the wasted session with the Soapy girl.

I expect a professional to create that chemistry or at least act like there is some chemistry. As I said, that is her job as a provider. Since I have made the choice, obviously there is attraction on my part and there will be some chemistry. The rest is up to her.

Sex with chemistry can remain exciting for a longer period of time, than sex without.
First time sex with a new girl does not need chemistry. As its pure excitement of a new pussy. But after two or three times if no chemistry its boring.
But first time sex with a new girl can go very wrong if she is a starfish or useless in bed . The downside of a wasted ejeculation.
So there are lots of different scenario's but sex with chemistry is far better. Chemistry is purely that. Its two people who get hot and wet and horny just by being together. It does not need lots of getting to know you extended conversations. I have a little massage girl who I have now fucked over 30 times. Thats quite a record for me in being able to fuck the same pussy again and again without getting bored of it. But we have chemistry, not extended conversations, just pure sexual chemistry. She turns me on and I turn her on and wow. Its wet and wild sex when we meet. She sleeps overnight sometimes. But thats it, no dinners or disco or shopping etc. Purely sexual. She can have the long conversations with her boyfriend, but for "wow factor" sex she has me.

Also many of us have girlfriends or wives and our emotional energy goes there.
I want to walk into a place, choose a great looking girl, head upstairs, have her service me like I am the lust of her life, and I don't want to waste time getting to know her or "whroemancing" her in an attempt to create chemistry. After that I want to put on my clothes and leave. Just like riding a roller coaster.
I have said it many times, lots of guys come to Thailand to date whroes as opposed to just coming to fcuk them. But to each his own. Remember, these girls are pros. This is their job.

Gents,
The new renovations Are done at Maxim's Inn. I had a new decoration room in the back
And Big enough for 2 persons. I only think If the bathroom can be bigger that would make
A perfect deal at 1190 baht a night. I usually pay 1500 baht a night for similar room at
Majestic suite hotel, So, I Was Not really complain at the small breakfast.
The noisy room 603 facing Sukhumvit road of the MS. Pushed me to look for
Other hotel in the lower soi. It is Time for Change.
I finally had a very quiet, new room and Save some baht for Heineken.

[QUOTE=Tratnguyen1; 1221274]Gents,
I finally come back to Bangkok after one year absent. I stay at the Maxim's Inn at soi7/1
It is a pleasant surprise.
I have a deluxe room with braekfast at 1190baht a night and the hotel is very quietly
Situated 100m. From the Sukhumvit road.
Skip.
I agree. Maxim's is value for money, being close to the action at nana, Soi Cowboy and now Dr BJ. Rooms are clean and quiet and the staff is friendly. My only complain is that there is little choice for breakfast.
