[Excess]

A very good series of reports from Mike De H and other contributors on the state and movement of mongering in sandy Dubai. Differences of experiences and opinions will always be of interest and value, particular from several long time mongerers in a locale. Time moves on and so does the girls and the ethos of a place. Hopefully, mongers also move on to different experiences otherwise life would be dull.

It does appear that Dubai has seen shifts in providers and attitudes since the wilder days of those intrepid Explorers such as to name a few Piper1, MyKapitan, JustsumFun etc. Etc. Apoligies to other stalwarts not named but whose reports have been enjoyed.

Might be planning a first visit to Dubai myself this year, but am fully conscious that times past may not be times present. As any monger, optimism is a primary requisite for the hobby. Surprises as well as Happy Endings do happen.

Yes, you reminded me. I forgot to mention is that Girl prices have remained steady. Perhaps there are fewer lookers that will go for 500 but hey, I can't blame them.

When Dubai has priced itself out of the Market as a tourist destination Worldwide, when Hotel prices are crazy, Bar prices crazy, yet the Girls are forced to stay at 500 to 1500 average price otherwise nobody can afford them, then of course their numbers and quality will inevitably decline.

At the end of the day, they are truly affected by market forces and they are luxury items that can be dispensed with on a trip if needs be. Almost everything else in Dubai is competition restricted and operates like a monopoly or cartel. Hence they can keep squeezing the price up.

You can find some good priced hotels on some sites. I recently got Seaview Hotel for next month for 52 us per night. That's like 1274 aed a week, $350 us per week. That's a little different.

I have certain restricitons like Wifi needs to be really good in the room. Also, you won't get Seaview for that amount this week.

Um! . What can I say there? That's certainly not my experience. I sense that every so often European visitors enjoy a spot of criticism of Dubai. Maybe it's a reflection of mood. I've been guilty of that before (Though I'm not from Europe – Yay!)

Nope! With the 60 Euro entry fee, Fkk is more like 160 Euro for your first shot and your lucky if its even 30 minutes. All the girls ask for an extra 50 Euro for anything at fkk Palace. They even ask an extra 50 euros for a GF experience. And I always hated standing around like a polar bear in a dressing gown. If your going to Germany go the RLD in Frankfurt, that's the business and a real adventure. 20 to 30 Euros a shot. I found some wonderful girls there. So much so I'm going back again soon ).

Nope, disagree with you here. Palace can be a rip-off, true, and I never go there. Go to Oase or World. Go anywhere else and its 50 Euros entrance. You should NEVER be short shanged on time. If you are, go straight to reception. Even when you "finish" you can stay with the girl until half an hour is up if you want. GFE is not extra. Only at Palace do they try that. If they do then tell them to stuff it. Bear also in mind its a spa / sauna facility and you can stay all day and all food and drink (including beer in some places) is included.

Sorry to hear about your poor 3 days in Dubai. My experience is a little different. I've had some good luck talking to the girls in the garden area of rattlesnakes. Sometimes I never actually entered the club. Isn't the entry with a free drink? I've always found Taxis well priced in Dubai. From 10 to 30 dhs. My best clubs would have to be Regal, Paranormal (for fun) and rattlesnakes in that order. I like the Arab, Stani girls in Regal and the party atmosphere there. I always seem able to find 2 or 3 I like and then I have to make a choice. When I go to rattlesnakes I walk around twice and scan and find what I like. Its fun.

It was like bees round the honey-pot. I got my interview with her but somehow never asked the price. My night was done and I had decided to go home alone

I quite agree with you about the Hyatt Regency, there club Premiere is hopeless, I've been now about 6 times and never found anything I liked, and I can't stand the body search upon entry. Dubai is becoming more and more the place where you can still have wonderful P4P experiences from girlfriend to porno, but how to reach the goal (girls) is way harder than in the good old times.

Today, like Mike described, Dubai has become a hell of expensive place: shopping malls (brand stores) are much more expensive than in Europe, food&beverage is more or less the same prive level than in Europe and entry fee to hotel bars (!) is absolutely cheeky (especially when there's no drinks included).

There's more or less the same price level than in Europe, but the salaries for "normal" jobs, like sales stuff in malls are way less than in Europe.

That's in my opinion the reason, why so many stunners from CIS etc. Have left Dubai and continued to other mongering destinations where they can make more money.

Thailand is today full of russians (!). For me that's like bringing sand to the beach.

Nowadays, it is more than important to create up a network out of reliable persons to share contacts of good performers.

Mike I agree with your observations and I am sure most mongers living here will be in complete agreement with you. I actually passed comment about the "100dhs with no drink" policy being forced in most places over a year back and stated then that it was the beginning of the end of the good mongering days. These places are also ripping off the girls charging them admission prices that are unsustainable every night. The people running these places seem to think that beautiful women are happy to let the bar take all the profit and that any girl should be happy to be left in. They actually believe that they have the market of customers for the girls and the girls should pay for the privilege. Unfortunately some of the venues mentioned, are the only source consistent of revenue for the hotels they are attached to, hence the "where can we squeeze the last few dhs from" attitude. In the news you will see hotels boasting high occupancy in Dubai but it should be noted that if the price is not high enough per room per night the hotel doesn't make money. And yes prices are way down on years gone by with the cost of everything gone up. Management in these properties have most likely never been faced with having to run a hotel efficiently before due to the previous boom times in Dubai and are now making silly mistakes.

FYI if you went to premier club in hyatt you would have been hit with a 150AED entry fee with no drink. You would be looking at 350dhs just to visit the place if you are coming from marina side on any given night.

The bars no longer represent value for money for girls or punters. Yet they keep on finding new ways to tax and [CodeWord140] off customers before they even enter the premises. I can see their flawed logic though.

100dhs Entry fee = pure profit + They know we will buy a drink at the bar which is even more expensive than a regular place (which to be fair is expected in a pick up joint).

To make 100dhs profit behind the bar would require a customer to purchase minimum 3-4 drinks. And today people are budget orientated more than ever. But instead of working to reward customers and trying to keep them the opposite is taking place. I predict that as long as places continue to operate in the above manner things will get worse before they get better.

i suppose when you are inside big ben you don't know what time it is. so after my little visit back to what was my favourite city in the world i was able to see the changes to the city from the perspective of an outsider. but in my case i see the changes as sudden leaps, rather than what i suspect to be the slow evolutional increments that you hardly notice when dubai is your day to day existence.<br>

my first chance to monger was when last thursday night i finally got a chance to pop into the rattlesnake after 17 months absence. somehow the place seems even harder to find when you are driving, since missing the exit off the north bound carriageway condemns you to kilometres of szr or the dread sandy roundabout-land of desolate, dark roads around the building site that adorns tom cruise's favourite building.<br>

the place seems to have had the exit to the road blocked off with the entrance discretely walled off from the nicey-wicey, moneyed diners in the metropolitan garden complex. my first impression is that this ghettoising of girls has its effect all over dubai. the working girl is more of an oddity on the streets, more discrete, but generally she is a harder creature, more scared, more devoid of humour and less willing to take risks.<br>

the first thing i noticed is that the absence of chinese hookers was not simply on the streets, but in the bars too. maybe its because of chinese new year, but barely a cis to be seen anywhere, but plenty of the stanis. those hard faced mongolian kyrgis and khazaks scare me. the way they instantly turn to ice when they know a sale is unlikely or my price is too low, and their gaze makes you transparent makes me feel somehow insignificant. less than human. i wonder if it's really a reflection of how life has treated them, rather than the other way around.<br>

come saturday i was determined to do something, so i went to the old favourites, having decided that the hyatt regency (panoramic was it called?) disco would likely be out of my price league, and pooped off to york. i was delighted that this was once place at least i still did not have to pay. slip past the queue, slip the bouncer a ten dhs on the way out still works.<br>

one pleasant surprise in york was, no chinese. at all, really. they were always too aggressive, following you around like puppy dogs, even after you said no, fifteen times. the africans were al ittle pushy but not too bad. now york was never my favourite place and i very rarely saw a girl i could go with, but always good for a warm-up. i met one girl from eritrea called 'heaven' and put her in the mental notebook for later and popped over to the regal.<br>

had to pay the 5 in the regal as i forgot exactly my own get-in-free method, but saw no reason why it would not still work if i could remember what size coin to use to forge the pass stamp. when i walked in at midnight, i was shocked. barely a western russian to be seen except the odd old heifer. all kyrgies and khazaks. no flippers no cis (never were many though) no anybody really, the place half empty. never have i seen regal not to have a single cutie in there, when i think of some of the great lasses from the past, from uzbekistan, dagistan, russia. thjis was bad news indeed. when things did not not warm up i popped back to york and took heaven home, just for the sake of doing something whilst in dubai.<br>

Here is my take on it and it's my personal thing. I know some people think that people like me ruin prices but I honestly think this is bollox.

I don't ever give money to charities as a big chunk will just be used by some scumbags, so I rather donate directly, if you know what I mean.

I think, some guys hunt for the cheapest price, but that's not my game. I also believe that it's not the case that every girl has a fixed price. They are very smart and will tax you in no time, depending on your race, country of origin, clothes, the hotel you stay in etc. Obviously, if they have a choice they will go with the high-roller, but most will take a smaller offer if it is the only choice rather than leaving alone. I believe some have gone down to as low as 400 for all night. I never offer less than 600, which I think is a minimum fair price. If I fancy someone, then she's usually worth that at least.

In this particular case, I did propose a premium over that and as I usually pay in the morning, it happens that I top this up a bit more if I was really satisfied.

So I hope I have given you enough hints, but it's really an individual thing between you and the girl.
