My experience, and I have been either living in Budapest or visiting since 2005, is that there aren't guys with baseball bats waiting to rob you in the apartments. The bar scam the US embassy does sometimes happen, but this isn't the experience at one of the apartments mentioned in either Beszmolok and Rosszlanyok. Both are truly more sites for independents or girls that work out of a shared apartment. For example, a massage apt I used to go to in the 3rd district in Budapest was owned by a woman that used to do massage and would sometimes still do it. She charged the girls half of the fee for each customer in exchange for providing the apartment. At the time, an erotic massage was 12, 000 forint for an hour, so the woman giving the massage got 6000 and had to pay for her ad on Beszmolok or Rosszlanyok on top of that.

The bigger issue than if the woman is the same in person as the photo is more the communications. Both sites will mention if the woman speaks Angol (English) or Nemet (German) but the level of language may not always be so high and they and you will sometimes have trouble with each other's accents. Also, the fashion here is less to havethe girl come to your hotel and more that you go to their apt. It's not that they won't come to your place, but it definitely adds to the cost and isn't the norm.

Not really unfortunately. I have some experience there, always went to someone else because I was never satisfied with my choice. If with photo, she was never the one on the pics. In the best case it was just heavy duty photoshop, otherwise just another girl. Not one behaved erotically. Of course you don't expect to get love and erotic for 50 euro, but when she is talking about some stupid incident just happened to her, or some other absolutely not relevant theme, it turns me down. Or once I had one, she was pretending to be very horny, but was such a fake. I am not in Hungary now, but in a month I will be, and if I find someone good, will let you know. Why there we won't get a bill for a100 € per minute that we spend in an apartment of a lady and if we don't pay the door will be locked and some gentlemen with baseball bats appear?

I know some Hungarian, but I am not a Hungarian speaker. I installed Google Toolbar and use the translation feature. Works very well. Beszmolok and Rosszlanyok are both good sites. Besz has better reviews, but Rossz lets you see if they are online that moment.
