I want to go to Changmai for a day of sightseeing, (snip). Thus, I think I will look for someone to bring from Bangkok with me.

Unless you have met the girl "in the flesh" it is always and everywhere a bit of a hit or miss matter. second night and third day:

after enjoying a few too many complimentary martinis and food at the second hotel's lounge, i decided to take a quick nap, with the plan of heading down to soi cowboy via the skyrail around 9ish. unfortunately, the drinks helped me to sleep through my alarm, and i awoke closer to midnight, so caught a taxi instead.

after having the taxi driver try to convince me to go to soi nana to a bar he recommends instead (read: gets kickbacks from), which i assured him i had visited many times (i hadn't, and if i remember what it is, i'll stay away because of this); then having him take me a convoluted way to soi cowboy (i told him the extra money he made taking me the long way was less than i would have tipped him), my night wasn't starting well.

deciding i needed a cigarette and a drink, i made a beeline for baccara, where it didn't take too long to get a seat and a good view of some amazing talent. although disappointed that the pleated-short-skirt and open-white shirt brigade were not on, my night started to get better when a cute gogo girl i had barfined last trip came over and started lavishing me with attention. a lady-drink later and she was asking if i wanted to "take her home". as my night had just started, and the girls on stage had removed clothes and were putting on a good show, i decided not to take her yet, so she went back to dancing. this was possibly a mistake, as a few drinks later she had been barfined by another punter.

ok, it's long overdue for me to write the trip report for my january bkk and pattaya trip. before i forget all of the details, and before i go back over easter:

i'm breaking report into chunks, as otherwise the post will fill most of a page. so, here is the first night and second day:

after arriving in late in bangkok fairly late at night, i met with a friend made through thaifriendly at my hotel. she was fairly attractive (but not to the standard i would date back home) , also in her early to mid 30s, and in a fairly well paying (for thailand) office job. i was surprised (and pleased) that she had an overnight bag packed to stay over, as she did not seem that forward on webcam chats we had done up to that stage. she gave me a welcome gift, took me out to a late dinner (her shout, even though i insisted) , then for drinks to meet some of her friends. most of the conversations from her friends were about how young and handsome i am (true to an extent, but not close to the extent they were saying) , and how great their friend was if i was looking for a thai girlfriend. the night was fun, and although i tried to be generous with drinks, i did not spend too much money as the girls kept also insisting on buying rounds as well.

They come to Thailand as a CHEAP (er) mongering destination.

The local thai guys. They are locals, obviously they are not complaining about the prices because THEY travel somewhere else for CHEAP mongering.

As for koreans and japanese, do they complain? You bet your ass they do, just not on ISG as this is generally an english speakers website.

If you think thai men, Hong kong guys, Chinese guys, korean guys, japanese guys, every country and every language guys do not have their own version of ISG where they complain about the exact same things including price and service. Well, I might just have pretty young beautiful girl waiting for you at the end of this dark alley!

The cycle goes on and on, sadly, I am leaving the Bangkok thread. In a place where the P4P scene is so open, theres nothing to discuss except for price vs service and the inevitable decline of one and the awful increase of the other. Until another spot becomes the new favorite.

The reason the Thai guys don't complain is because at most of their venues, they get good service, it is expected and guaranteed. At most of the Thai massage places I frequent, you get at least 2 pops in 2 hours, and the girls don't spend time telling you what you can't do. Contrast that with Sukhumvit girls who ask for more money (Thai massage places on Phetburi run 1300-1900 all in for 2 hours, whereas Cowboy and Nana you will be fighting to get 1500 ST plus the lady drinks plus the barfine of 6-700) and then come home and pull the starfish or jakajee or yai maak jep routine. And obviously in the Sukhumvit scene, plenty of guys must put up with it because the girls know they can get away with it. I once had a non performer in a Thai massage place. Actually Thailand is a place where office girls sometimes like to suppliment their income. There is a blurring of the division between hookers and office girls, because lots of part time hookers exist. In the west, girls go pick up a guy but do it for "free". In Thailand the girls may be short of money, so why not go pick up a guy and suppliment their low office pay as well. O.K. Its possible that some of these girls eventually give up their office job if the returns from the other method are better. I do understand that some girls may also bullshit that they work in an office, but real office girls hooking do exist. Most girls I met met myself doing a little freelance, also had other jobs, like shop assistant, telephone switchboard operator, factory worker, etc. I don't claim to have had many office workers myself but aware they exist. If you ask the girls, some will know who is an office worker. Some office girls become MP workers part time in the evening. Some do escort work. I don't use escorts myself for various reasons. Alternatively you might be able to find girls that dress like an office worker and maybe that is good enough for your fantasy.
