I think it is pretty much easy to undersatand, does not mean acceptable. The know that even 50 is "cheap" for us, and I do not want to call the price police now, or open the usual nearly useless debate. Western prices are known, maybe not to the penny, maybe not for everysingle country, but it is sufficient to know the average price of Europe, USA, South America, Japan, Australia to figure out what mongerers are ready to pay. The "professional mongerers", checking forums as this one, are also a minority. The majority of the punters are simple guys aware of the locations, sometime last minute finds or decisions. Easy for them to be happy to pay only 50S$ when at home it is 200 US$ or so. They will also never be aware that the locals pay 25S$.

I love Geylang, but what puzzles and cools me down is the standard pricing policy to apply double price To foreigners, or better to white men.

Indons are priced 35 to all, but 70 to bule.

There is a group of nice cheap Thai on the last alley parallel to Geylang Road, maybe near Lr. 24. They ask 50 to me, but 25 to locals.

I agree with this advice 100. I lived in SG for 8 years and was a regular visitor to Geylang. I started off at the fishbowl houses with the Thai girls around 2004. Those were great times. Later I moved onto the houses where they call up the Malaysian-Chinese girls. I didn't last long with those because they started getting more PRC girls and they were just too mechanical for me. The "PRC" (People's Republic of China) girls that you see around Lorong 8 are only taught the words "One Hundred" as a standard price for any foreigner. A hard negotiation might get you to SGD90, which I have done just in order to cover the cost of the $10 fuck hotels they bring you to on Lorong 10.
