Is it valid in other parts of Cuba or only in Havana?

How long it takes to obtain such paper?

Never in my life have I heard of such a thing. Sounds like BS to me.

The farther you are away from La Habana, the greater the GFE! Now you make your choice, greater GFE or greater English fluency.

If this ever existed, it does not exist anymore. So what type of chica are you trying to protect? If she is a "jinitera", this alleged paper will do her no good. If this is your "girl", then do your thing. Register with her where-ever you go, casa, hotel. If she is a "good" girl, she will have no problem registering with you. If she insists otherwise, then assume that she has registered with other tourists and that she has reason to protect herself. I have registered my girl with me at all hotels and casas and I often change my visa to a family visa so that I can stay in her home while I am in her province. The fee for change of visa is $40 for the duration of your stay and health insurance which is about $2. 00 per day. Hence, it is cheaper than a hotel or casa particular. Will this prevent police questioning, maybe, maybe not. But, building a history with your "good" girl serves as a sort of evidence that you and she have a :genuine" relationship.

With all this said, . Many here will say that you have every right to assume that your girl has a Cuban novio on the side, notwithstanding that she is or is not a "good" girl.

On the issue of getting a girl out of Cuba I have read on other forums that you both can go to a public Notary and sign a statement of agreement. The agreement being you accept responsibility for her safety and well being while out of the country and that you are engaged, NOT MARRIED. If any one has any insight on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Also if anyone has any knowledge of the cost and procedure they need to go through to obtain a Passport and if there is any grease that needs to be dished out along the way.

I have read many of warning on the possible car rental problems in Cuba, but damn that does sure open a lot more possibilities. Will most likely be traveling with a friend here in Panama to share expenses, guess we will just hold off on that decision and cross that bridge when we get to it.

On the Casa Particulars I found this map on this forum I believe that other wil find helpful as well. (

Can someone please shed more light on this?

Do they still add an entry stamp on a piece of paper rather then stamp your passport?

Nope, just pay $25 exit fee that they stamp your visa on the flight into Cuba.

On another note I hear there is a serious lack of cell phones, this is probably a dumb question but is there anywhere a guy can rent a cell phone for the duration of his stay?

    Thanks
If you pay the memebership dues so you can receive private messages you may get more help. Not many guys who have lots if experience in Cuba are going to write a lot in these forums.

They only way I know of getting a girl out of Cuba is by marriage. So if you're willing to falsely sign papers saying that you're engaged and will take care of her then you might as well marry her because what you sign isn't worth the paper it's written on. The chica will more than likely leave you once she gets a taste of "freedom". So marry her, get as much use out of her as you can, as soon as you can, and be prepared to come home one day and find her and her belongings gone. I've heard many horror stories of the chicas taking off after 6 months to 2 years. That's your window of opportunity my friend. 6 months. 2 years, especially if they're young and beautiful. Good luck with that.

They DO NOT stamp your Passport. They stamp the small paper visa instead.

I don't know of anyone or any place that rents cell phones, but if you bring an unlocked cell phone you can always buy a local sim card.

Read some of my other posts, I give complete details on where to pick up girls in and around the beaches.

In Panama you will need to purchase a tourist visa at the airport when you check in or before boarding the plane, I have seen it done in both locations. This piece of paper is what immigration in Cuba will stamp when you enter Cuba, not your passport.

When you leave the country, after you check in, you need to pay an exit tax of $25CUC before you can go through security.

Cell phone, just take an unlocked GSM phone like you would use in Panama and you can buy a number in Cuba.

Left the States for Panama 7 years ago so I do not have the US BS regulations to deal with thank the Creator. If I find the right lady would like to bring her home with me to teach her English and bone up on my Spanish along with the obvious. Plan on staying for at least 2 weeks so would not be in a rush to accomplish my goals.

    Questions:

Is it true most Cubans ladies would be very happy to leave their country?

    Yes

What is the procedure to get her through customs and on a plane?

Are you trying to put her in your suitcase? LOL!

Anyone know what they charge their citizens for a passport?

Planing to stay in a casa particular near the beach outside of Havana, any suggestions?

You can contact Pototo on Cuba junky. Google it.

Where is the best places to pick up chicas near the Havana beach?

El Malecon or sea wall in English.

Also planing on renting a car for a few days and checking the village girls out in the country as well, any suggestions?

I would not do it personally. You will get charged even if a dump truck rear ends YOU.

Do they still add an entry stamp on a piece of paper rather then stamp your passport?

Nope, just pay $25 exit fee that they stamp your visa on the flight into Cuba.

Do they still charge a 10% fee to convert USD?

    Yes.

Sorry for all of the questions and all constructive responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Hope that helps. Have a nice vacation!

    Atlantico

Nothing is impossible, but I thought it was close to that or some major bribe to get chicas into the place, atlantico is very nice compared to the tropicoco and it worth the extra 100 in comfort and food when camparing AI prices from toronto.

I haven't stayed at the tropicoco in 4+ years, but I will starting may 3rd or 4th with all the new intel regarding easy access (wink wink) , booking trip today.

If you only travel once or twice per year and don't spend a lot of time there meeting people, I would say its going to be difficult. I spend a lot of time in Cuba and theres not much english spoken. I probably know 10 people that can speak english and they all work in tourism (taxi-hotels-diving etc|). And I know 4 chicas that speak broken basic english but won't provide a girlfriend experience. They will bang you but they all have cuban boyfriends and will be a pain in the ass. If you don't have a particular look that you want and your not choosy, then you may get lucky in la cecillia or capri-but don't count on it. Your best bet is just to talk to people and ask if they know anyone-ask the taxi driver-casa owner-girls at the bar-the cook at your casa-just say you want to meet a nice girl who can speak english and you have a tip for them if they come through-make sure you have a cuban contact cell phone number so they can reach you. Sorry I can't help you on this one.

Has anybody heard anything about AI Club Atlantico down the beach road from the Tropicoco, it is a much nicer hotel comapred to the Tropicoco but probally would not be worth it if the other luxuries of the Tropicoco arent to be had.
Much stricter at Atlantico to get chicas in, but not impossible.
