my somewhat delayed report (by a few days, anyway) from my second visit to pattaya (the first one being in 2006).

nothing too memorable. a rather standard go-go experience. still enjoyed it.

first i went to the angelwitch bar which is, i assumed, was kinda famous. it was after 21. 00 hours so not that early as the day before. it was a rather miserable sight there. all girls were either well overweight (and i'm not saying this as an admirer of super-skinny nymphs but i really mean it. at least 6 girls dancing on the stage could be described as obese) or outright obese. that was not pleasant at all. having realised that i probably would not see anyone to my liking in that place i left just before 22. 00 and went to the "sexy airline" bar. quickly popped in and didn't even bother having a drink there. just left straight away. the choice of girls was miserable.

i wasn't sure what to do next: go checking other bars or just go to baccarra which seemed much better than others i checked the day before. i decided to go for baccara and after ordering a drink went to the second floor where i knew i would find something decent for myself. some japanese guys there (surprise! surprise!) but it didn't take long before i spotted that tiny and really skinny nymph. can't remember her number (as usual with me) but she seemed like the kind i like: a true tiny and skinny spinner girl who would be, shall we say, not too heavy to manage in the bed. she was 21 (or so she said. she probably was) and had braces which is not a problem for me. .

one drink, barfine and we are on the way to my hotel which is not too far from the walking street. just all of a sudden once we're at the front of the hotel entrance she says "i cannot go this hotel". i asked "why?". she says "have no i'd.". i was like for f*s sake, girl, you surely could tell this a bit earlier (of course i didn't say this to her in such a manner, i' would never be that rude). i asked why she didn't have the i'd and she told me that short story about riding a motorbike with no helmet and being stopped by a cop who took her i'd (only other choice would have been the motorbike itself). but she did have a copy of her i'd. i was a bit lost for a second but then just decided to just go for it and try to go to my hotel with what we had i. e. copy of her i'd. that's thailand, after all, rules are not always there to be obeyed.

and i was right. the reception guy looked at the i'd copy, said something to the girl in thai. then told me politely "if anything happen, i know nothing". i said "ok no problem" and that was it.

in the room the standard stuff: kissing, cuddling, then missionary, doggie and cob (tits area). unfortunately no bj. she said because of her braces. not sure if that really matters. does it? oh well, whatever, not a big deal. anyway, she must have been one of the smallest and slimmest girls i've ever had which was a rather nice touch. she didn't mind posing for a picture too which i liked.

just to finish off the story of my pattaya visit, a quick sub-story on my trip to the (suvarnabhumi) airport the morning after.

can't be bothered to take a bus with my suitcase so i order a taxi from an official travel agency stand in my hotel. the price is 1000thb which is a standard rate for a taxi to airport. i paid upfront and got a receipt stating the price and the car which is taking me there (toyota innova. or maybe corolla. one of them two anyway). minutes later the driver is here and helps me to bring my suitcase to the car. only that the car is not innova / corolla but the 2006 shape toyota camry (woo hoo! lucky me! free class upgrade for no extra fees). the driver was a young guy and was keen to take me to the airport without delay (even without my request to do so) which means we were going faster than most other cars at 130-140km / h on the semi-motorway from pattaya and then on the 'real' motorway which has a 120km / h speed limit. he tells me "if police ask, say i'm your friend, not taxi.". lol. i already see what's the issue here. :d

he drove me to the departures area. he seemed very worried about the police not stopping him there. i gave him 20 baht for his quicker and more luxurious than-expected delivery of my ass to the airport and this is where it all ends.

the funny thing is that the very legitimate agency employs unlicensed taxi driver who uses a much better car than your average taxi, goes way over speed limit and at the same time is shitting himself not to get stopped by police and get done for providing illegal taxi services. i love thailand. seriously, i do. wher eelse can you get a better taxi car than you pay for. :d

I could not access the Pattaya Free site to read the allegations. And I have not been there for a while, mind you, but I rather liked Secrets. Free buffet on Sunday (nothing spectacular, but hey, free). I barfined one of their girls who was a real cutie. And Larry, who comped me a beer, was a great guy. I could think of dumping on a ton of other gogos on in the vicinity of Walking Street. In one place I refused to pay for rancid beer (one tiny sip) and was chased out with an old hag throwing sticks and shit at me. Secrets, IMHO, is a place that cares about its customers, pretty rare in Patts.

You should try Pattaya sometime. The average quality is certainly higher in BKK, but there are definitely some gems to be had in Pattaya. And I have found the Pattaya ladies to generally be better performers. YMMV.

For me attitude is twice as important as looks when it comes to this hobby. It translates to something like this: (looks x 1) + (attitude x 2) /3. So I generally enjoy an experience with a 7 looks with a 10 attutide lady better than an experience with a 10 looks with a 7 attitude lady. Again; YMMV.

There were a few reports about a crackdown in May. How much has Beach Road and Pattaya in general been affected? And have things been better this month or worse? Hopefully someone has an update.

I was in Pattaya and Jomtien in May and did not see anything of a crackdown. Actually, my Thai GF noticed that there were many working girls active on BR.

Nothing has really changed on BR although low season may have affected the quality somewhat.
