Your 'why not' is really annoying. Please make sure you read the forum rules. Here are the present rules of engagement for pay for play on this heart shaped planet:

a) It is age of majority and not age of consent which matters. It is at least 18. It is at least 18 because there are some jurisdictions where the age is higher under circumstances.

b) You have to exercise higher standard in certain circumstances that require it and this moral standard is on you.

c) There are jurisdictions which have different rules for their nationals. We do not post or discuss those rules in this forum.

As for Cuba, p4p is not illegal, and the age is 18 for a visitor to the blessed island.

Amigo. I agree with the previous comment-you will get ripped in Cuba especially if its your 1st time. I've been well over 100 times and I still get scammed once in a while and I'm constantly on gaurd. Thats just how it is in Latin America. Further, even if you get lucky enough to meet a fairly normal girl that hasnt been jaded by the Havana lifestyle-once friends and family find out she's fucking a tourist-they will all be advising her on "how to get more out of you"-"how to act" bla bla bla. Its actually quite sad because it makes it difficult to develop a normal relationship-but thats how it is in Cuba and its not changing soon. Expect the "pity card" to be played immediately-no food, sick grandmother, no medicine etc etc. I've been to almost every mongering country and Cuba by far is the most difficult country to find a quasi normal encounter.

Also the problem with going after so called normal college girls is that theres a strong stereotype in Cuba that if a Cuban girls with a tourist she's a working girl. And many won't cross this path even if they like you and don't need the dinero. This makes it difficult to obtain what your looking for, but of course not impossible. La cecillia johnys capri are all full of working girls-Go to Don Cangrieo (night club) on the weekends-lots of hot normal girls. But please remember not all Cubans are poor and many of the girls in this place come from good wealthy families and choose to live in Cuba. I know many of these girls and good luck-they would never fuck a tourist on a "one night stand" situation. But if your young, good looking and you have game-you may find a gem.

The main reason I'm choosing Cuba is that I think its a lot safer for wandering around alone then if would be in dominican or Costa rica, as as for over paying for vag I remember some guy on lonely planet forums told me never to give the girl more money then her age LOL.

What I'm really looking for in this trip is to find some high school or college / university girls and try to get something without having to pay too much, since I'm young and I'm pretty cool and not a gargoyle I think this is feasible?

Also considering that the average cuban's salary is like 30usd a month how bady could I possibly be ripped off even as a first timer.

Also I was thinking of going in December and am wondering if this is a high or low season because I'm sure market price for girls fluctuates around this.

I think if I had taken a vacation to Cuba as a single 19 yo my head would have exploded, but that is me. How about the DR or Mexico to break you in before Cuba? Very funny, but I hope you have fun and just make sure you report back. I can say that not speaking any Spanish and being a first timer guarantees that you will end up overpaying.

Then again, you just might run into Cubanas in your age group that are not yet jaded, and that might make your trip pleasant and memorable. Good luck, RTFF before you go and make sure you report back here.

You scared me for a moment, but your a young man and in any other region, you'd be ok, but in Cuba, make sure they are 18 because even though the age of consent for Cubans is 14 for a female, for tourists, the Cuban chica better be 18. Be safe. And yes, plenty of "non-pros". Just stay away from Havana!

I want to go on a trip of self discovery and adventure aka starting to have sex with gurlz and I'm thinking havana would be a good destination since its relatively safe, innexpensive and close by (I live in canada=)

My question is this

Is it possible to find younger girls that are not really pros more like school girls that want to make some extra cash.

In Havana, most of the girls who are seeking financial help, range from 18 to 20. Younger girls (18. 19) usually hang out with groups of friends in local restaurants, parks, or even tourist places. The ones seen at tourist places, are usually looking for tourists. At discos, you will also find younger girls, in fact, I never encounter someone over 22 at those discos. As for your Spanish, don't worry, If you have an iPhone, you can download English to Spanish Translator APP. It is a must, very handy. When are you planning on going? I may join you.

I posted my opinion on this in the Cienfuegos thread several weeks ago (Aug 6th) , I hope you read that. My main bit of advice would be to ask around until you find a casa owner willing to allow visitors. I have a negative personal experience to share that I don't think I have on this site. Several years ago, I stayed at Casa Loly, which is just around the corner from the Capitolio in Centro Havana. She is a retired English teacher. Anyway, she went on an on with rules on staying at her place, including NO CHICAS. Anyway, I was not planning on bringing a chica there, since I don't monger much in Havana, and I tend to prefer older women who frequently have their own place.

Long story short, a friend of mine flies into Cuba 10 days later, stays in Havana for one night before flying onto Santiago where I was. I recommended that he stay at Casa Loly, which he did. Anyway, we meet in Santiago and he tells me she explicitly told him she had no problem with him bringing a chica to the casa, although for the record, he did not the one night he was in Havana. So this woman has one set of rules for one guest, and another set of rules for another 10 days later.

It was almost certainly due to the fact that I am a black man and my buddy who flew in later is Hispanic / Latino. Needless to say, I have never recommended her casa to others. Es Cuba.

I am not surprised. I can tell you this, Cuba, primarily an Afro-Cuban country, holds on to some very racist notions. In most cases, these ideas are benign and do not take on the form we are accustomed to in the USA –past and present- (see http://www.cnn.com/US/9807/06/dragging.death.02/index.html) but it is real and ever present, at times subtle, and other times, not so subtle. I find it silly, however, given their multi-racial DNA. I just sum it up as another form of self-hatred.

I've been reading this thread but still unsure how to find cheap hotel / casa particulares that are chica friendly?

I've heard one of the biggest problem of mongering in Cuba is the take home of the girls due to laws that don't allow hotel / casas to have that in house. Any advise?

Last question: apart for the 2/3 chica bars often mentioned here (Casa della Musica, La Cecilia, etc.) , are there other brothels (even stuff for cubans is fine as I speak perfect spanish)?

AliBar, somewhere in the middle of Havana next to a Rapido / gas station. Ask people around the malecon, they should know where it is. Didn't see any gringo when I was there earlier this month BUT the quality is not something to my taste.
