Comparing to Diani mtwapa is a slum full of problems. Sure there are girls but you will not feel at vacation. If I had the money I am sure I would go again to Diani but until then I am staying away from north cost.
Things that I can stand in the past I can't stand now. I met one of the forum members years ago in Mombasa he told me that he hate the dirt and sand of mtwapa, I didn't agree then but now I understand and feel the same.
I have a very good memories from Diani beach I am sure I will come back but with plan B just in case that the glory past will gone.

Posts: 489Maybe Dylan; but if a girl is using the web, I think it's a better kind
of girls than these late night at Cheers f. E.
But you re right; daytime is hunting time

Hi guys,
I am planning on visiting mombasa next week but some body out there please tell me if its safe there. The last time I checked the MRC was causing havoc at the coast. What is the situation down there?

Posts: 27Forget tagged. You can find more willing ladys at daytime in the streets than on tagged.
Just my experience.

Posts: 489Thanks John; but I vn't negotiated Luck; the price is really fair.
A currently german guest has written me an email; he said Luck is
a great decision.
I wrote "sometimes". At the weekend or at Cheers I found many
times drunken girls.
Gents; I tried tagged; looked very good; so waiting for reply
such a tool is much better than a local disco. The price of AI is
not the problem; but for "our" girls 1000 ksh; i doubt
Cheers

I've walked at night with no problem from the main road to Luck apts. It seems from this website that the beach at night is not safe.

Use a coma when you want to PAUSE, and continue speaking. Make your sentences longer, write as if speaking to someone, ending with. (full stop)
Hope this helps, keep trying.

Merry Villa and luck apartments are next to the Catholic church. Both are good places to stay. Forget about Nakumatt, forget about website reservation just walk to luck apartment and negotiate. There is NO FIX PRICES in Kenya.
Luck apartment is one of the best places in Mtwapa. If you have money then one of the hotels on the beach will better place. You can mix one week in luck apartment and one week in kahama hotel.
