I became great friends with Felix, he's the American born Hispanic security guy, that works the 8pm to 8am (Felix is his name is the taller 8 pm, guy) We would just bullshit during his shift, I bought him a few energy drinks to stay awake, he's one helluva good guy, I met him on my first trip. Well anyways most of the people passing always stop and talk to Felix, he's greatly respected from what I see, and we have fun just bullshitting, he opens the garage, and gives me a chair to sit and people watch as he works, awesome guy! This particular night, I was standing, talking to Felix, When 2 Hispanic guys walk up, Felix the taller security guys knows " who's who?" The taller Hispanic talked to the security guy, Felix in english they, must've been deported I figured, Well his shorter friend strikes up a conversation with me, in English about all these fine girls, and where he was from Los Angeles, Ca, just small talk joking and laughing nothing serious.

Lesson learned, don't strike up to many conversations, you never know who your dealing with? ! (Scary) the people that roam the street s of Tijuana.

On a much funnier note, I'm standing later, talking to Felix, he laughs and tells me all the girls says I live up to my T shirt, name. Headed to Portland airport on Tues Nov 27, caught a flight via Alaska Airlines at 11:40am landed at 2:00pm grabbed my carry on only luggage from the overhead bin, exited the plane and headed out the airport. It amazes me, for such a big city like San Diego is What a extreme small airport they have. Anyways, headed to the curb outside of terminal 1, and just a few steps to the left of the door the bus stop of the 992 bus picks up that was way cool. If you buy a day pass its $5. 00 plus you need to buy what they call a "compass card" its an additional $2. 00 so $7. 00 total, when you can buy a ONE WAY FARE to San Ysidro for $2. 50 the fare is good for the bus and the trolley as well, also at the end of your trip just buy another ONE WAY FARE for $2. 50, back to the airport. That's a helluva lot cheaper you can pay $14. 00 total (ie two day passess and two compass cards) , or $5. 00 total (ie two one way fares). Anyways got off at the America Plaza stop, about 10 minutes later, bought a ONE WAY FARE. For only $2. 50 hoped on the BLUE LINE trolley, just asked the s driver to drop you off at the Trolley stop / America plaza stop. I want to shout out to Chris Long for his travel information it was extremely valueble and accurrate. Wow that trolley rocks and roll down them tracks, with the driver tooting the horn every 2 seconds.

We arrive at the last stop San Ysidro ie (end of the line and get the HELL off the train). I grabbed my carry on only and headed to the border. I think another monger posted the border is not OBVIOUS, but I've been here before just follow the stream of people and they will lead you to the new border crossing. Exactly how safe is tijuana? I'm in the northeast and tend to go to places like montreal for my mongering needs, and I've asked this question before in other forums and sites, but does it make sense or is it worth it to go all the way to san diego just to be able to monger in tijuana? Is it a destination like that, or more like a place you'd go if you happen to be in san diego for some other reason or maybe if you live in southern california. Thing of it is, I've heard some amazing things about some of the places there like 'Hong kong' and I'm dying to know what it's like. The reviews I've read of the escorts as well and the cost is definitely worth it. So if any of you guys were living in the northeast, would you fly all the way to san diego just for tijuana? I think it is for sure worth it the first time. You need to do it at least once, for around three days minimum, so you can explore some of what Tijuana has to offer. After that trip. I believe you will end up visiting San Diego at least 3 4 times per year. (This is without mentioning the beauties of San Diego, that in my opinion its a beautiful city with a lot of things to offer.not only mongering related.)
