If they washed the lettuce in tap water, the price may end up being the least of your worries. Some restaurants have their own water filtering systems, but, as I've eaten there a few times, the Southern Cross doesn't strke me as one of them. If it's too late, I've found that 500 mg. of ciproflaxin, twice a day for seven days will clean it up, with the worst symptoms gone in about three days. Most pharmacies will sell it to you; just hand them a note saying "ciproflaxin 500 mg. Generic * 14."

OK. As said, arrived Manila and immediately upon arrival to Manila scammed by taxi driver. Thinking back, how on Earth could I have fallen for that? Must have been jet lag. Can't think of anything else.

Got first gal from LA Cafe. Paid 1500 ST, and she was nice enough. Took picture which she agreed to, so long as did not show her face. This gal has easily the nicest personality I had. She a non-pro (pretty much) and just all around nice gal. The sex too has like an Olympic sport. A gal who loved her work.

Next day, breakfast at the Amazonia. Not bad price, and got four eggs, hash browns, and coffee. Anyway, while there with my notebook PC FL approaches me. Really not interested, and she went away. Was doing e-mail and playing FB. After a bit she came back. She had a type of goth look about her. Claimed to be 26, but her face looked older. Could have been the makeup however. Then to Robinsons where I grabbed about ten really nice "Mount Blanc","Louis Vitton","Gucci" pens for 400p. Real ones go for a couple of hundred. Why get this junk? No clue. Of course, passed on the "Rolex watches", which are just too obvious, too ubiquitous, and just lame. Got my Sony-Ericsson cell phone up and running and immediately texted my AC anal queen. Yes, she still there after all this time, and yes, anxious to see Popper again.

OK, back to important stuff. It was night and figured since already had one gal from LA Cafe, and one from Amazonia, last stop was G-Spot. Just grabbed a seat. Gal was playing with her cell, as these gals are addicted to them. Spoke to her, and playfully took her phone and began reading her messages outloud. This guy Marcus from Germany who wrote something like "When I went to Philippines, I never imagined that I would fall in love however after I met you, bla bla bla." And yes, we all laughed about it. Just having a great time. She decided to stop by for again same price of 1500p for ST (thinking that the standard rate). Nice time, and she had two orgasms. I really do not understand this. I mean, I pay her 1500 p and she gets two orgasms? What is wrong with this picture? Shouldn't she pay me?

Had to wake up early so tossed her out. Arrived at Southern Cross at 2:00 to grab the 3:30 bus to AC. They have free WiFi, just went to relax and order coffee and Caesers salad. I have to say however, their Caesers Salad was way over priced at 335p and perhaps he worst "Caesers" I've had. The bus ride however overall well worth the 600p one way.

Piling on about taxi's in Manila. In the last week I was in Makati, two taxi's had "broken" meters. Once going From the airport, and once To the airport. Kinda hard to get out with my bags in the trunk. I settled for about 300p, seems they are determined to get that coupon rate.

At terminal 3, there are 2 big boards with the coupon rates for points in Manila, and even to the nearby provinces. If I see it again I will try to take a nice pic and post it or list the fares.

Even with a generous tip, the trip was less than half of what I would have paid had I stayed at arrivals.

Not sure that this is possible at T1 as I don't think that there is access to Departures from Arrivals. Never arrived at T2, so haven't a clue about that.

I agree about T3. Have done this but only when I have had hand luggage. The elevators are easy to find and head for the gate furthest away from the check in (Gate 6 I think)

For T1 and T2. Both possible but more awkward and annoying so I never really bothered after the first time

I've been able to use escalator or elevator in both terminals. Sometimes you get funny looks, but no one has tried to stop me. Look around, you will find the way.

At NAIA they always block the stair and the escalator I just use the elevator to go upstair to catch a meter taxi there on the curb.

This is only worthwhile if you are traveling light without heavy luggage. Seems also that locals have the same idea. When I arrived at T3 other night I was only had light bags so to avoid the taxi mafia and overpriced yellow cabs, I popped up the escalator to Departures. There I found a longer queue than at Arrivals all being marshaled by a security guard. Despite being late, there were lots of taxis coming through and the queue moved fast and within 5 minutes I was in a taxi and away. The driver had no problem with turning on his meter and surprisingly didn't ask for fare + 50 (or 100) like they usually do. Even with a generous tip, the trip was less than half of what I would have paid had I stayed at arrivals.

Cheapest is go one floor up and catch a taxi which is dropping off someone and insist on meter. Even here the taxi guy wants to quote you a price. If he does not agree get out and get another one.

You need to ignore the security guards there who try to block you into getting a taxi.

I found DIA very reliable, and wonder if it is becoming increasingly advantageous to use it.

I found DIA a bit hit and miss in Mnila, but had excellent results from DIA hunting pinays in Spore.

That trick of getting a taxi up stairs while it is leaving you can do in countless places (Pattaya, Manila, Cebu, Jakarta). However, decided to pay the extra 70 pesos, since it's safer. And it really works too :P.

As I first walked out of my hotel passed this gal who said to me "Sir, I want go witd yue." Yea, am back in the zone. However, my hotel not prepared so passed. Had a falafel at that place near LA Cafe.

After prepared room, went to the LA Cafe (yea, I know, but use its traditional name). Place not as crowded as I recall, but could be since it near Christmas. It was however, hoppin' plenty. Was looking for the gal with the truest spirit, purity of heart, and holiest of karma. Well that, and the largest hooters at the best price. Walked around for about an hour and asked seven gals. Prices ranged from 2000 to 3000 pesos, ST. Was really surprised, recall it was less. Anyway, found this one gal who was absolutely pure of soul. And had big hooters. We spoke, usual bla bla. She 25 and I decided she would be mine. We agreed to 1500 for ST. She claimed that she lived two hours by bus from LA Cafe. She also said it her first time ever at LA Cafe (right) , that she worked in Singapore for a few months but as a stripper only (right) , and made salary there of $1000 a month. Since my brain now not functioning all that well, I forgot to ask if she meant US or Singapore dollars. My bad.

Anyway, I banged her numerous positions, seven ways and side ways, and she was great about it. She took all I gave her and we were at it like an Olympic event. Made the finish line when I finally came on those large pure hooters.
