I saw what appeared to be new embedded reflectors in the asphalt (lane markers) on the highway between Boca Chica and the exit for Las Americas Airport (SDQ). Seems the concrete barrier was also painted and maybe new reflectors installed on top of the barrier. I did not drive that road at night this trip, but I would imagine the reflectors and the other improvements should make that section of road easier and safer to drive on at night.

The southern beaches were the only place I had not been to in the D. R. , so at the last minute I booked and left. I paid about 60 a night for zapata, and it was clean, comfortable, good staff, free breakfast, and chica friendly and a gated area you could stay in if you did not want to be bothered on the beach. Do not get room 9 if you stay there, as it is next to the common areas and loud at night and you will be up by 6. Wifi was about $5 a day, but was secure. The beach is public, and a pain in the ass. You cannot sleep or relax as you are bothered every minute or less. Be live was the last 4 days and I paid $70 a day thru trip and was all inclusive and stayed in presidential suites. Room and beach was amazing, service was fine, and at least on the beach you were protected from the sales people, but the buffet food sucks, and it is 200 a day to bring a girl on. The separate places on the resort to eat were fine, so it is worth making a reservation. I usually had dinner downtown as it was good and reasonable. The touts are a total pain in the ass, and most are working together with the chicas so be careful. You will neg. With them and rent the room, and be with the girl and she says something else and starts raising hell. Lot's of girls on the streets, and most with hot bodies, but pretty hard faces. Every one I spoke to got ripped off, but it was just in a suttle way. Best bet is to go after the people that are at work and not the street girls, as there are all available for the right price. The cost was 35-75 american depending on the girl. Do not take one back to your room, and do not go where they want to go. There are many close places at reasonable prices and if you stay at one place you can get a nice one for about 750 for an hour. One guy took a girl to his room, fell asleep, she opened his safe and cleaned him out. I strongly recommend pregame. I went to Dom, Cupid and had many regular girls interested, and had a university girl, classy, and cute that was 19 take the bus from La Vega (prettiest girls and most normal there and in Santiago) and it was a GFE. Made her pay the bus to come, to see if she was sincere, and then reimbursed her. She came and it was great. Just always be aware that on the street the men and women are they to take from you. You can get all the regular girls you want, because their jobs pay little and they need the extra money. Expect 2500-3000 a day for a day on the beach, dinner, drinks, fun, and send them home. It was fun, but not sure I would go beg. Too many beggers, petty thiefs, and it is constant lies, and you do not want to put yourself into any of those street girls. Lot's of Haitians. I would pregame, and though, and use be live, and Zapata for a good value. One last thing is when the girls come up to hug you, push them away, as they only want to pick pocket. If you want to be left alone with the touts learn to say Tengo chica, Adios!

Couldn't agree more about the Boat House. Best place to stop and have a few beers while in Boca Chica. They have a two for one happy hour from 5 to 6 (I believe) which makes the drinking a little cheaper. I and a friend have had some nice looking women stop and visit while sitting at the Boat House so it is not all bad in Boca Chica. Funny thing about the place is the same four guy have been there for happy hour the past four years. Always fun to stop and chat with them.

I agree that Boca Chica is no Sosua but it is not bad for a day or two. A couple years ago there were some nice looking women working the casino at the Hamaca so that might be an option. I am not a gambler so I have not been to the casino the last couple of trips through Boca Chica.

Now the bad: Hustlers, predators, and homos. The police snatched the finest girls up and off they went to never return. Chicas are more hardcore than sosua. It used to be when I first went in 08, that most girls were freelancers from SD trying to make some fast money. Now most of the tricks know each other. The network is made up of major hustlers now that will get you if you are a visitor. Price changers after negotiations, pick pockets, drug addicts, perverts, and aggressive beggars.

Candy shop is 1 block from hamaca and right next door to calypso beach hotel. They are guy's on motor cycle's that will act like they brought you there so either you are the girl's will have to give a tip so don't fall for it. If you have to get someone to help you find these place's pick 1 guy get his number and use him the entire time if possible he will keep all of the other tip seekers away from you.

Paco's other place is under the over pass which is on your way to B / C from the airport if you pass ole grocry store you gone to far. The local's party hard at the bar next door.

The main problem you will have is not with the women but with the men who want to make money off of you to supply you with a chica that you can get on your on or from a disco.

B / C is a fun place for me and I hope it will be for you just learn how to keep the tip seeker's out of your money and you will be able to afford as much pussy as you like.

Those guy's on the street will tell you anything to keep the business going where they want it to go every body get's a kick back. The candy shop is owned by Paco. Paco own's 2 disco's that I know of and he is a legend around B / C people don't fuck with him or his customer's. I have never had sex at the Candy Shop but I have picked up some very fine women there. Paco's other place under the over pass is pretty cool place to you can party it up at the bar next door when you are finished with your chica.
