Well said, and it puts the discussion very nicely in perspective. As the discussion has shown there is no easy answer to how one should react when asked for payment up front. Not surprisingly everyone has their own experience and way of responding to it, and everybody has something to learn from the others. I am certainly not encouraging guys to walk out, but trying to put focus on the risks involved whether you opt to stay or leave. At the end of the day each one of us has to follow our own gut feeling. And of course, compared to other aspects of p4p this is a small issue.

Wherever you are, you need to follow the culture. From my own experiences:
- The brothels of Europe: Always payment up front.
- The massage parlours of Europe: It differs from country to country, but usually payment up front.
- Germany RLD: Payment up front / Complete rip-off. You are quoted one price outside her room, another once inside her room before the deed when payment is made. And she will stop the act asking for more money if you go for a service that is not agreed upon (like touching of boobs!).
- Germany FKK clubs: Payment always after the deed.
- Lap dance at US style strip clubs (whether in the US, Europe or in the Caribbean): Payment usually after the deed (I remember one exception in Miami).
- Chica bars in SXM and CUR: Usually after the deed, but it varies.

Repeat performances with the same girl should give both you and the girl a comfort zone. She know's you are not going to rip her off, or be disrespectful. You know what kind of service you are going to get, and should get better service than the first visit. Once you know you are in good hands, paying up front should not be an issue, even if she requests it the second visit. It's that first visit, when you are trying to set the performance level with an unknown, when paying up front can be an issue.

I have been more aggressive when it comes to any negotiations with the girls than in the past. I have realized that it's not like picking up a non pro. Maybe this will get them to give better services since they already have your standard fee. Anyone else tried this method? I speak Spanish so I don't have a problem communicating to them.

Let's face it the girls are not there because they like fucking strangers, they are in it for the money. I can understand that chicas sometimes get a non-paying customer and are just trying to protect themselves. I do the exact same thing with new clients in my business. Years I found that if a chica asks for money up front I just walked out. I find that their service is upually mediocre.

As I start to walk out the door I have had a few chicas stop me and said later was ok.

Their performance was good. I do not know whether they would have been poor if I paid up front but I just don't do that.

However I know most of the bartenders and owners and they know me by name so that is what might have changed over the years as no one asks for money up front.

Same in Campo and even in Colombia. I am not asked for money up front.
