Well the good news is that a 16. 6% response rate is pretty impressive. The bad news is that you must be using mamba wrong.

Most of the females on there aren't prostitutes and your plan should be to identify those who are up for p4p.

I would suggest that you just write a short 'hello, how are you' message and if dialogue develops you will soon find out who is up for what.

If you want to avoid agencies and those using fake pictures check the 'with webcam' field as that will weed out most of them. Become a VIP and use the advance search option and also check 'travel' in the 'looking for' section and who will eliminate 99. 99% of agencies and fakes.

I believe we got the girls mixed up or their are just liars. When I was last Sept I believe Liza who I dealt on the emails but never met was the owner and she was married to a Lebanese guy from Canada who ironically was on the same flight as me from Toronto the day I was coming in. They were liars on price too as I agreed on a price for Roksolana for $15 a hour day and night and when I met her she claimed she knew nothing of it and wanted she night rate of $25 a hour. Roksolana claimed she was single and lived with friends but from her looks and education I knew right away she was no average club / Mamba girl but was looking for a big fish.

I met the owner of Private Guides during my second night in Kiev. Her name is Natalia. She wanted to meet with me because I booked several tours through her. You are correct. Natalia and Roksolana are looking for big fish. Natalia is a very dignified and sophisticated woman. Neither girl told me of their marraiges when we first communicated. Roksolana told me that Natalia is married to some middle eastern guy from Canada with dark skin. Yet Natalia didn't tell me this during dinner or during or email communication. She then went into a lenthly monologue of how her husband in Canada loves her; but she doesn't love him because he is fat and sends her no money. I then asked Roksolana why she wants his money while she is working herself. She took my question with offense and began telling me that she loves her husband "a little bit."

These women obviousely didn't marry these men for their physical beauty.

vodka bar was the worst bar i've been to in all of ukraine, not kiev, all of ukraine.

my visit was a side effect of repeating "just another beer" for a few times after dinner with some staff, and living at the infamous k-street 13/2. imagine how many buckets of tourist juice that was fired away in that building. i was tired and was supposed to sleep, and walked in for a "quick peek". yea right. i can only agree that the place qualifies as "the worst".

Well, obviously she has not a fake photo, judged by her swift response! Too bad, she has a spirit of a Valkyrie around her. Maybe better try tell her she is clumsy. Try not calling her a fatso in the first few lines of conversation.

Obviously, you were trying to be funny, but they often have very little sense of humor or playfulness. So don't feel bad that this dry, humorless female didn't go for your clutzy humor. The date would probably have been a disaster, if she's not the personable type. So move on. Don't make fun of a girl early on in the conversation unless you've already established she likes to kid around and can take a joke. You didn't do anything wrong, except show too much personality, too early on, with a girl unprepared for it. A different girl might have reacted differently. You took a chance with with a joke about her appearance, calling her a fatso. This would be taking a chance in any country. Instead of making fun of her, maybe next time try self deprecation, or other types of humor and see if that works better. LOL

I almost got rid of Liza as well. I found her to be a ***** during the beginning of our first date. I wasn't accustomed to the rustic and outspoken nature of the Ukrainian women after living in the USA for so long. She warmed up to me once I began speaking honestly about my personal issues and when I showed sincerity in experiencing Ukrainian culture: philharmonic, Ukrainian clubs, Ukrainian restaurants etc. She also appreciated that I wasn't looking to get in her pants. I was inquisitive about her personal life and in learning about her unique relationship with her boyfriend. She seemed to value that sort of sincerity. I also asked her to arrange the dates for me. I let her choose the restaurants and clubs for our dates. She took me to a unique organic folk restaurant. She also took me to a wild House music club. A cute girl at the club caught my eye and Liza to introduced me to her. The tactic worked wonders and made for one of wildest and best tourist hobbying evenings ever.

Liza is a great choice for any of you guys seeking a guide with a hip and edgy appeal. She is studying drama at the university. I guess you can call her a starving actor type. She is using the money she makes from Private Guides to pay for her studies, student lones, and other expenses.

i might have tried some web-site girls had i been in kiev for more than a week; or if i wasn't involved in the tourist thing. i was also concerned about the various reports of girls not resembling the pictures. i didn't want to be put in a position of saying no or calling an escort a fraud during my first visit to a foreign country.

being this was my first visit to ukraine; i wanted the ukrainian nightclub experience. i also felt more comfortable seeing exactly what i was bringing back to my hotel room. i might try the mamba thing during my next visit to ukraine; now that i am more familiar with the country. i hope and plan on making it back to ukraine this summer. i definitely want to experience odessa.

I figured I would share my Kiev experience on this board. I will first say that Kiev was a bit more pricey than I would have liked. It cost me almost twice as much to hobby in Kiev than in other locals such as the DR, Thailand, and Costa Rica. I will say, however, that Kiev is a beautiful city with wonderful people. I found the Ukrainian people to have a refreshing and unpretentious charm. I will most definately return to Kiev ASAP.

I paid a visit to Bhudda Bar the first night of my arrival. This was an impressive and stylish place. I loved the relaxed lounge style atmosphere and hookah bar. I also enjoyed watching the bevy of beautiful 10+ model type freelancers. One freelancer offered me an hour of fun for $300. I couldn't believe my ears. Many of the international boards reflect a significantly lower price for fun in Kiev. I might as well have stayed in Philly and paid American prices. I told her that I would accept $300 for all night. She agreed and said that she would see me when she was finished partying with her friends. I waited for about 20 minutes for her to return and left for another local.

I took a taxi to Avalon. Avalon was also enjoyable. I enjoyed a seafood dinner at the restaurant. The meal was pricey; but tasty. I then hit up the disco on the third floor. I enjoyed watching the PJ dancers on the sound stage as well as the beautiful working girls hanging around the bar. Dam these Ukrainian women dress to kill. I love the long boots rising up to their knees. Who said that the demise of River Palace killed the action in Kiev?

Recommend "Private Guides" for those of you with a genuine interest in experiencing the real Ukraine with real Ukrainian people.

A friend shared a file on UA written by some guy that runs Rooshv (?) and I must say that while some observations are relevant, most just shows his inability to leave his US mentality behind.
