I agree wholeheartedly with gollum30 that you should chat it up with the girls before purchasing the goods if you speak even a little of the same language . The attitude makes all the difference, and don't feel bad for turning down a hottie with a terrible attitude. You will know within the first few minutes, but the more you can chat without having to buy her a drink, the better. (Gollum was talking street hoes, but it applies to club girls too.)

I have never had any problems but a few months ago I read on this board (probably in the archives) of a bunch of fellas getting hassled when they were driving. It seems the shakedown is still going on. I think my good luck is attributed to the fact that I don't drink and always take a cab to the the clubs.

Hello, need info on the current LE in TJ. I have been going to TJ for the last 18 years and it wasn't until my last trip that I was hassled by the cops. On the first occasion I was detained for carrying a closed beer in the zone, after 45 min and $20.00 I was released. On the second occasion i grabbed a girls butt in Adelitas, since she was grabbing me, and she called the cops of the street to detain me, luckily it was a fat cop and I was able to run & hide in another bar. Does anyone know if there is some sort of LE crackdown in the zone? I am planning a trip this Sun. Eve but really don't want to waste my time if it is turning into a So. Cal. type atmosphere.
After reading the posts I just wanted to comment on the SW, I dont think they get enough credit. I have found numerous SW, $30-40fs plus $2-5 room, looks 6-8, attitude 7-10. However, it is true that prevalent SW attitude is usually 1-3. These girls need to be conversed with thourghly on the street to make sure they have the right attitude before taking them upstairs. If you plan on having 3-4 girls in a night one of these may help you keep within budget.
Lastly, for the newbies to TJ, if a girl doesn't show you the merchandise in the bar or goes to a room with you and doesn't want to take her panties off, it's a man. Don't let the Dos Equis fool you. There is a Starbucks style coffee house down on Pio Pico, around the 1700 block, I believe. They speak English and make all those girlie drinks.

Had a great time but I'm the kind of guy who needs a gallon of coffee to face the day after hanging out with w-h-o-r-e-s all night. Man, crossing the border the next day without my caffeine fix was something else.

Cascadas is $29 per night. Rooms are very small, but clean. Get there early (around 1:30pm) to get a room on the weekend. They go fast.

PS They don't rent all of their rooms by the night because of the 30 minute contigo al cuarto (go to the room) with chicas.

The room I had did have a TV with a porn channel. Course, if that's all you wanna do in the Zona Norte may as well stay home.
