Las Vegas strip clubs do the same thing taking advantage of tourists. Clubs charge anywhere from $10-40 more if you arrive by taxi. Non-regulars to the clubs really don't know any better. If you ask a taxi driver to take you to a strip club you will end up at the club that reimburses the driver the most money.

The ironic thing is that the only 2 clubs you should even consider going to, Spearmint Rhino and Saffire, give you free entry and free limo service by just calling them to pick you up.

There are a lot of positive reports about this clubs and most visitors get good value for their money. As I did 2 weeks ago. I took this route last Sunday to get to the club. May be the best route if you can walk from a bit from the last bus stop. I had no idea how close I was to the club when I got off at the last stop of the 737 bus. I looked for a taxi for a while, did find any, so I walked to the near by Best Western Hotel to get a taxi. Had I walked the other direction half the distance, I would have got to the club.

Yes Neuenhauseplatz is the stop after Rohrsmühle and the last stop of the 737 bus. Both these stops are within walking distance of the club.

There's a hotel on the next street up from Magnum, the Hotel Garni Unterfeldhaus.

Ask to be dropped at the hotel.

It should be possible to walk from the hotel to Magnum by cutting thru the back lots. Also good to know a hotel is very close to the club.

I booked this hotel for next Wednesday. 75 Euros is not the best rate, but they granted me check-in as early as 7:00 AM. I arrive to DUS at 6:00 AM. So I will slip before to go to Magnum.

I found it on Google Earth. It really looks like there is a pathway via back doors. Very close. Closer is only Flemmings to Palace.

Another option is to take S8 to Dusseldorf-Gerresheim then take the 737 bus to Rohrsmühle from where you can walk to Magnum.

The 737 bus comes from Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof so you could take it direct and avoid the train but the journey would be longer.
